Zara Tindall has revealed an eye-popping way she had Mike Tindall turfed out of bed after he stayed out way too late.
The daughter of Princess Anne has explained that her husband made a major blunder when he was expected at an early morning engagement.

Zara Tindall gives Mike Tindall a shocking ‘wake-up call’
Zara Tindall has a great sense of humour and often shares some relatable insights into her life, including her marriage to former rugby star, Mike Tindall.
The Olympic equestrian has a multitude of talents, from being skilled at sport to being a doting mother. But just like the rest of us, sometimes she loses her cool.
In this case, Zara made it very clear that she had lost her patience with her husband of over a decade.
Speaking at a recent charity dinner, Zara reportedly explained how she once asked guards at St James’s Palace to wake her husband up after he overslept following a big night out.
Mike apparently was out in London until 4am, despite the fact he had to do a coaching clinic at 8:30am the following morning.
Evidently, Zara wasn’t impressed. As stated by The Mirror, Zara revealed what happened next.
She said: “He overslept and was staying at St James’s Palace. Our PR girl was like ‘Where is he?’.
“I rang the police at St James’s and said ‘Can you wake Mike up?’
He says they came in with guns.
“He was in my mum’s flat. They let themselves in. He says they came in with guns.”
Mike’s ‘rude awakening’
Elsewhere, Mike Tindall once shared the jaw-dropping tale himself.
He stated whilst at a DEBRA fundraiser: “I was meant to be there (the coaching clinic) in 45 minutes. My friend rings up Zara, who phoned the police post at the palace.
“They started giggling, saying they saw me at 4am on video cameras struggling to get to the doorway. She says, ‘I don’t care what you do. He needs to be in North London in 35 minutes.’
“Next thing, five guys in full riot gear with machine guns come in saying, ‘Get up, get up.’ I was, like, ‘[Bleep]!’.”
He concluded: “And in three minutes, I was in the back of a cab, with the police waving me off.”
Despite this shenanigan, Zara and Mike are much-loved in the public eye. The pair lead a more low-key lifestyle compared to the other royals and share three children together: Mia, Lena and Lucas.
Although they aren’t always in the limelight, Zara and Mike have built an incredible ‘£30m’ empire, according to reports.
Zara is estimated to have earned £15m from her business interests and equine career. Meanwhile, her husband is believed to be Britain’s fourth highest-earning former rugby international, according to reports.
