David and Victoria Beckham 'blindsided' over son Brooklyn's 'dinner' with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly received support from Harry and MeghanDavid and Victoria Beckham reportedly feel “blindsided” after their eldest son Brooklyn reportedly met with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Beckhams’ alleged family feud has made tabloid headlines in recent days – with the reported fallout compared to the alleged rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family.
The Sun claimed that Brooklyn, 26, and his billionaire heiress wife Nicola Peltz may have turned to Meghan and Harry for advice. And the Sussexes are said to have offered their “unwavering support” to the pair.
However, now, a report claims that Brooklyn’s parents were completely unaware that Brooklyn and Nicola spent time with the duke and duchess in Montecito in California, calling it “a particularly cruel blow”.

That’s because, according to MailOnline, members of the Beckham circle “struggled to believe” Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, would agree to meet up with the Sussexes after reportedly snubbing David’s recent 50th birthday celebrations bashes.
Additionally, in July 2023, reports claimed the friendship between the Beckhams and the Sussexes – with David and Victoria attending the royal wedding in 2018 – had “died” amid reports of stories being leaked to the press. David, in particular, apparently felt fuming over the claims.
And so, MailOnline invited its readers to imagine how put out Victoria and David might be amid reports their son and daughter-in-law had found “common ground” with Prince Harry and Meghan.
Meghan Markle and Nicola reportedly connected over their experiences of representation in the media.
“Nicola and Meghan had a bit of a ‘deep n’ meaningful’,” an unnamed source told The Sun.
They went on: “Both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers. The women to tear apart their husbands’ families. Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her and said there was shared common ground. They didn’t meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence.”
David and Victoria had no idea about the meeting, leaving them blindsided that their errant offspring had joined the ‘other side’.
According to the MailOnline’s Katie Hind, David and Victoria had “no idea about the meeting, leaving them blindsided”.
Latest on Beckhams family ‘feud’
Furthermore, Victoria apparently feels “humiliated” as she reportedly reached out to Meghan when she settled into the UK.
And Brooklyn knowing how claims concerning his parents no longer getting along with the Sussexes affected them is also said to be a sore point.
“Brooklyn was very much around and spending a lot of time with his parents when this all happened. It was over five years ago. But the upset and dislike is still very much there,” an anonymous insider is quoted as saying.
“Victoria was especially good to Meghan in the beginning and it all got thrown back in her face.”

However, MailOnline also reports the meeting between Brooklyn, Nicola, Harry, and Meghan was not an intimate occasion, or private dinner.
Initially, reports claimed the dinner took place at the Sussexes’ mansion in Montecito with several other guests. However, according to the MailOnline, the party reportedly took place at the home of Paramount and Nickelodeon CEO Brian Robbins, 61.
