Prince William and Princess Kate set to leave England for special ceremony in Scotland
The couple have been out and about a lot lately!
Prince William and Princess Kate are set to go on a trip to Scotland later this month – an excursion that isn’t detailed in the public royal diary.
Royal reporter Rebecca English has shared the news online…

Prince William and Princess Kate to visit Scotland
Writing to X, formerly Twitter, Rebecca English has stated William and Kate’s latest plans and royal fans are very pleased.
She penned: “The Prince of Wales and The Princess of Wales, Sponsor HMS Glasgow, will attend the ship’s naming ceremony in Scotland on May 22.
“During the visit The Princess will take part in naming the ship by releasing a bottle of whisky which will be broken against the ship’s hull.”
In the comment section, fans of William and Kate sounded off with their thoughts.
One penned: “That’ll be fun! Hope they have a dram from another bottle of the same maker afterward.”
“Yay wonderful news,” chimed in another.
“I’m glad they chose whisky,” said a third.
Royal Insider has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.

Inside the Royal Diary
A glance at the public royal diary shows that the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are set to visit the Isle of Jura in Scotland on May 22, followed by a visit to the Isles of Kerrera, Seil, Easdale and Luing.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Gloucester will officially open the Edmonds Transplant Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Mindelsohn Way, Birmingham.
Nothing else is penned in the royal diary until May 27, where the Duke of Gloucester has an engagement.
Evidently, there isn’t any information about William and Kate’s Scotland trip.
Prince and Princess of Wales latest
Their social media doesn’t share any clues as of yet either.
Their most recent post, earlier this week, detailed Kate’s honour to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to Patrick McDowell.
In the clip, Kate was seen looking chic in an olive green suit.
The caption stated: “A huge well done to Patrick, whose bold, sustainable vision is helping to shape the future of British fashion. Their commitment to creativity, community and circular design is truly inspiring.”
Prince William takes over King Charles’ title
The latest we know about the pair is William’s attendance of a service held at Westminster Abbey today.
It is here that he was installed as the Great Master of the Order of the Bath by his father, the king.
King Charles last attended the Service of the Order of the Bath in 2022, when he was the Prince of Wales.
He bequeathed his role in September 2022, upon his accession to the throne.
It is tradition for the Great Master of the Order of the Bath to attend the service every four years.
The sovereign is expected to attend every eight years.
King Charles was installed as Great Master by Queen Elizabeth II in 1975, when he was just 26.
Prince William is following the tradition today.
