Queen Camilla beams with new adopted dog in sweet photo
Little Moley made a royal debut on InstagramQueen Camilla has delighted fans by introducing a new, adopted member of the royal family… a little dog called Moley!
The queen showed off Moley, about 20 weeks old, on Instagram on Sunday (May 18) evening. It is the first sighting of the rescue dog since she was adopted from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London three months ago.
Queen Camilla adopted the “mischievous” Moley after losing her previous dog Beth, a 13-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, in November 2024. Beth also came from from Battersea.

The adorable snap of pup Moley’s royal debut was shared ahead of Queen Camilla’s visit to the Dog Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show today (Monday May 19).
The monarch’s wife wore a summery dress for the social post as she tenderly held Moley close to her face.
The Insta upload’s caption explained: “Meet mischievous Moley, the queen’s new much-loved canine companion who was recently adopted from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, where Her Majesty is Patron.”
Meanwhile, it was also explained that the Dog Garden includes “grass areas for dogs to enjoy and a large tree providing shade”.

Additionally, the brick paths are inscribed with the names of dogs belonging to royals, Radio 2 presenters and RHS ambassadors, as well as British gardener Monty Don’s pooch Ned.
