Princess Kate steals the show with 'flawless' appearance during Scotland visit with Prince William

Kate, 43, and Prince William, 42, stepped out in Scotland today (May 22) for a day of duties. And it’s safe to say that Princess Kate dressed for the occasion. You can see photos here.
Since making her appearance on Thursday, royal fans have been gushing about her outfit, which she manages to get right every time.
Princess Kate wows in navy dress during Scotland trip
On Thursday, the prince and princess stepped out in Scotstoun in Glasgow, to attend the ship naming ceremony of the HMS Glasgow. The event took place at the BAE Systems’ shipyard.
Kate is the sponsor of the ship, with the role of smashing a bottle of whisky against its hull. And she even styled her outfit to match the theme.
In 2021, Kate was appointed Sponsor of the HMS Glasgow. The anti-submarine frigate is supposed to protect the UK’s nuclear deterrent and aircraft carries. So, today Kate was checking in on the ship’s progress and hear about the experiences from sailors.
Princess Kate stole the show as she wore a long-sleeved navy dress by Suzannah London – a new number.
She wore a matching hat by Philip Treacy, and a navy midnight hang clutch bag. On her feet, she opted for nude, suede heels.
But on top of that, she also reportedly paid tribute to the late Princess Diana by wearing Cabochon sapphire drop earrings – previously owned by her mother-in-law.
By wearing the navy dress, Princess Kate gave off the right vibe for a shipyard and she may have taken the idea from Princess Diana. The late princess would often pay homage to military jobs by wearing outfits that have little nods.
Princess of Wales steals the show with navy dress
While all of Kate’s focus was on the people she was meeting, royal fans couldn’t help that she grabbed their attention.
Gushing about Kate, one royal fan wrote on X: “HRH, The Princess of Wales. The epitome of grace and elegance! Flawless!”
Another believed that new images of Kate and Prince William belong in a movie. They wrote: “It’s like a glamorous movie. The Princess of Wales is style perfection.”
This ensemble is truly out of this world.
A third believed it may be Kate’s best look yet – and there have been a lot. They penned: “This ensemble is truly out of this world. It is exquisite and proper on the Princess of Wales. It’s simply to die for. No one can ever top this.”
“Princess Kate is always impeccably, perfectly dressed,” another royal fan commented.
Meanwhile, in a video shared to X, one member of the public made a comment over Kate’s “beautiful” appearance.
They said: “You look beautiful Kate, you too William,” to which William quipped: “You don’t have to say that, don’t worry.”
