Meghan Markle may have admitted she feared she would “never have enough” money, but her reported jaw-dropping net worth suggests otherwise.

On the final episode of Meghan’s Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, she spoke to Spanx founder and billionaire Sara Blakely. During the chat, the duchess got very candid about money.

Meghan explained that she believes money is a tough subject, and said women are “taught to not even talk about money and there’s lots of guilt mentality surrounding having a lot”.

But she also admitted the alternative can happen too. Meghan said: “At the same time, there’s a scarcity mindset that it’s easy to attach to, of like ‘I’ll never have enough.'”

But Meghan Markle’s reported net worth may disagree with that.

What is the net worth of Meghan Markle?

As of May 2025, Meghan Markle is believed to have a net worth of an estimated $60m (£44m). That’s a combined amount with her husband, Prince Harry, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

One large part of their net worth is their beautiful home in Montecito. When Harry and Meghan stepped down from the royal family in 2020, they began making a life for themselves in the US.

Their Montecito home is reportedly now worth over $20m. According to TMZ, they bought the property for $14.65 million in 2020. It has many features including multiple bedrooms, rose gardens and a swimming pool.

At the same time, there’s a scarcity mindset that it’s easy to attach to, of like ‘I’ll never have enough.’

When they stepped back from duties, Harry and Meghan signed a five-year deal with Netflix in 2020 reportedly worth $100m (£80m).

They also struck up a deal with Spotify for podcasting purposes, said to have been worth $25m (£18m) in late 2020. The deal ended in 2023.

But Meghan has just recently launched her own partnership with Lemonada Media, where she released her own podcast Confessions of a Female Founder. But it’s unclear how much Meghan is making from this.

Meghan is also likely making millions from her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. While the exact figure is unknown, the brand got a lot of exposure during With Love, Meghan.

Was Meghan Markle rich before marrying Harry?

Meghan Markle was still rich before she met Prince Harry – just nowhere near the level she is today.

Before joining the royal family, Meghan was estimated to be worth $5 million (£3.7m).

This isn’t entirely surprising considering she had a well established acting career. While she is most known for Suits, she also featured in Horrible Bosses, Dater’s Handbook and Anti-Social, as well as a lot more.

Meghan played Rachel Zane, a main character, on the hit TV Suits. And according to Purewow it’s believed she was paid up to $50,000 (£37,000) per episode.

How much did Netflix pay Meghan and Harry?

Meghan and Harry have gone on numerous different ventures since leaving the royal family. But one in particular would have seriously bumped up Meghan Markle’s net worth.

In 2020, Meghan and Harry signed a five-year deal with Netflix reportedly worth $100m (£80m).

As a part of this deal, the couple have already released documentaries. It was also on this platform that Meghan released her cooking and lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan earlier this year.

While it’s unclear approximately how much Meghan is actually worth, she’s sure living a rather lavish life!
