Meghan Markle 'twerking' in dancing video while pregnant in hospital slammed as 'vulgar'
The duchess was marking her daughter Lilibet's fourth birthdayMeghan Markle has been defended after being brutally slammed over her twerking dancing hospital video, with some thinking the baby dance clip is “hypocritical”.
The 43-year-old mum-of-two posted the pre-labour footage yesterday (June 4) in honour of her daughter Princess Lilibet turning four. But it hasn’t gone down too well with the public.
Meghan and Prince Harry left the royal family back in 2020, packing their bags and moving to America. And over the years, something she and her husband have been very vocal about is wanting privacy for their family.
And it seems a lot of people believe Meghan has now broken her own rules.

Meghan Markle twerking in hospital dance video
On Wednesday, celebrating Lilibet’s birthday, Meghan posted unseen pictures of her daughter from over the years, giving fans an insight to her life.
While Harry, 40, and Meghan have previously kept their kids out of the spotlight, ever since Meghan got Instagram, fans have been getting more and more glimpses of them.
Following the images, Meghan then posted an 80-second throwback clip of her and Prince Harry dancing in the hospital room, waiting to give birth.
Meghan danced to the viral song The Baby Momma Dance – a song that went viral in 2021 with pregnant women dancing to it.
She wrote alongside it: “Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!”
I think it’s completely hypocritical for everything she stands for.
However, it hasn’t only been fans slamming Meghan for the dancing video. Royal expert and author Ingrid Seward spoke to The Sun about the duchess’ “hypocrisy”.
She said: “They can do what they like but why put it online? Does Meghan have no boundaries? I think it’s vulgar, unnecessary attention-seeking.
“They make such a point about privacy and security and then they put stuff out there. Meghan can’t resist putting it out there. I think it’s completely hypocritical for everything she stands for. It’s very embarrassing.”

Response to Meghan Markle’s baby dance video
While a lot of social media users have called Meghan out for the “cringey” twerking video, some fans have come to her defence.
One user penned: “That Instagram video Meghan Markle just posted is the reason some folks can’t stand her. She got Harry out here dancing and enjoying life. I love them!”
Another added: “Every whiny criticism of Meghan Markle has sounded totally idiotic. Don’t like something? Stop watching.”
A third commented: “Meghan Markle is going to make a certain demographic very mad with her latest IG post. And I love it!”
“Returning to Instagram was one of the best things Meghan could have ever done,” a user declared.

How many babies does Meghan Markle have?
Lilibet isn’t Meghan and Harry’s only child. Before the couple left the royal family, they welcomed their first child, a son, Prince Archie in 2019.
But over the years, the pair have admitted they think two is the perfect number of kids for them!
Prince Harry’s privacy legal battles
The hypocrisy claims come as Prince Harry has launched numerous lawsuits against the media over privacy concerns.
Not too long ago he lost his battle of his security arrangements when in the UK. He was appealing a decision to downgrade his security whilst in the UK.
After stepping back from royal life in 2020, Harry and Meghan lost their taxpayer-funded security. Now, it’s decided on a case-by-case basis.
In an interview after his court loss, Harry admitted he wouldn’t feel safe bringing Lilibet or his son Archie to Britain.
In April, the couple also called for stronger protections for children from the dangers of social media. So many now feel like Meghan isn’t following her own advice.
