Kate Middleton, Prince William and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, looked happier than ever at Trooping the Colour today.

The family stepped out to celebrate the annual Trooping the Colour parade. It marks the official birthday of King Charles.

During the event, an adorable moment between the Prince and Princess of Wales was caught on camera.

The sweet moment mirrored that of some shared between the late Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, in 2009.

Princess Kate arguably stole the show today as she sported a stunning turquoise suit dress.

Kate complimented her eye-catching look with a matching floral hat.

Her 10-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, echoed the style of her mother and adorably rocked a very similar number.

The mother and daughter duo were all smiles and laughter as they headed down The Mall in a horse drawn carriage. They joined Prince George and Prince Louis, who also sported similar outfits, donning navy suits and red ties.

Meanwhile, Prince William fulfilled his role as Colonel of the Welsh Guard.

He rode alongside the soldiers on horseback, wearing the crimson uniform of the Welsh Guard, amongst the parade.

Elsewhere, a heartfelt moment shared between Kate and William was caught on camera in a stunning image that is very similar to a photo previously taken of William’s grandmother and grandfather.

The image shows Kate watching William in awe as he rides on horseback whilst observing his father, the king.

The royals at Trooping the Colour 2025

At this stage in the event, the royals gathered at Horse Guards Parade, where the monarch, Queen Camilla and Princess Kate were greeted by a royal salute.

King Charles then went on to carry out an inspection of the troops. Countless soldiers wore ceremonial uniform of red tunics and bearskin hats.

At one moment, Kate turned to gaze lovingly at her husband, who stared on, transfixed by his duties.

Royal fans shared the photo to X, where fans gushed over the sweet moment.

One penned: “Such a great photo of the Princess of Wales looking at her husband, Prince William during the parade today.”

The same user pointed out how the image of Kate, sporting blue and elegantly turning her head to view William, was very similar to previous images of Queen Elizabeth at Trooping the Colour in 2009.

Snaps of the late queen previously showed an iconic moment where she would turn to look and smile at her husband, Prince Philip, who would also don his military uniform.

“Proud wife,” one X user said of Kate.

“Still goes weak at the knees when she sees him in uniform,” wrote another via X.

“Gorgeous picture,” chimed another.
