Trooping the Colour: Prince Louis caught watching dad William in adorable moment

Prince Louis joined his family at Trooping the Colour today as a sweet moment of him watching his dad Prince William proudly was spotted by fans.

Trooping the Colour is an annual royal event that marks the monarch’s official birthday with a military parade and RAF flypast.

On Saturday (June 14), the king stepped out with senior royals to mark his official birthday.

On Saturday morning, the Prince of Wales rode on horseback in the Trooping the Colour procession.

His wife Kate, Princess of Wales, travelled behind in a open carriage with their three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.

The procession headed from Buckingham Palace, down The Mall and to the Horse Guards Parade.

As they headed down The Mall, Kate and her children waved and smiled at spectators gathered.

When they arrived at the Horse Guards Parade, the royals were seen climbing out of the carriages and taking their spots to watch the parade.

And one moment caught on camera showed Prince Louis keeping a check on his dad!

The picture showed the Prince of Wales walking in his uniform. In the doorway behind him was Prince Louis, in his navy suit and red tie, as he watched his father.

One royal fan shared a photo to X, captioning it: “The Prince of Wales ahead of Trooping the Colour ceremony this morning!

“Look at Prince Louis watching his papa in the background.”

Royal fans gushed over the moment as one person said: “Love Prince Louis watching in the background.”

In addition, another wrote: “Such a beautiful picture.”

A third added online: “Prince Louis watching Papa very carefully.”

Meanwhile, another moment at today’s parade between Louis and George has also got fans talking.

Whilst riding in the carriage in the procession, Prince Louis was seen flashing his best grin alongside big brother George.

The brothers looked very happy waving and smiling to spectators.

One fan speculated: “It looks like Louis is saying something funny to his brother and George is amused and trying to hold his laughter down.”

In addition, another wrote: “Prince George and Prince Louis looks so handsome.”

Meanwhile, a third fan gushed: “Aww what a sweet picture of Prince George and Prince Louis today.”

Trooping the Colour is an annual royal event that take places each June. It marks the monarch’s official birthday with a parade.

However, King Charles’ actual birthday is in November. But, the event traditionally takes place in June each year to make use of the better British weather.
