Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis charmed royal fans around the world over the weekend with their showings at Trooping the Colour.

Despite the grand event in London marking King Charles’ official birthday, his grandchildren almost stole the show again with their appearances.

And as they lined up with the rest of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF flypast, one expert reckons the three siblings operate like a finely-tuned machine.

With all eyes watching them as they travelled by carriage with their mother Kate, Princess of Wales, through The Mall to Horse Guards Parade and back to Buckingham Palace, every little gesture during Trooping the Colour came under scrutiny.

These included the adorable moment Prince Louis, seven, was spotted watching his father Prince William. And also the sweet question the Waleses’ youngest had for for his older brother, 11.

And according to body language expert Judi James, it is the interactions between Prince George, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis that demonstrates how well they have bonded.

‘Like a family of swans gliding through the water’

Ms James told the Express website that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were “synchronised”. She also compared them to “gliding swans”, such is the “elegance” of their congruity.

She said: “William’s own family are rapidly achieving the levels of body language synchronicity that send out messages of teamwork and bonding.

“The children retain their individual characters, but when they appear together now, they are like a family of swans gliding through the water. There is a sense of elegance about their body language that even Louis is showing signs of inheriting now.”

Ms James also indicated each of the siblings keep an eye out for each other as millions take in their every movement.

They ‘police’ each other with small nudges or steering rituals to retain the levels of synchronicity.

She continued: “They ‘police’ each other with small nudges or steering rituals to retain the levels of synchronicity, but this behaviour looks intrinsic to their team dynamic.”

Meanwhile, Ms James also believes the Waleses’ unity is even more apparent following the health scares both the king and Kate have endured.

She highlights how the children appear to get on with each other and their parents. And – crucially, she added – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all seem to enjoy royal events such as Trooping the Colour.

Ms James hailed this “injection of joy rather than duty” as one of their parents’ “greatest achievements”.
