Sources have hit back at claims that Meghan Markle was left furious that she didn’t get an invite to Jeff Bezos’ wedding over the weekend.

The multi-billionaire owner of Amazon tied the knot with American journalist Lauren Sanchez in a star-studded ceremony in Venice on Friday (June 27).

Meghan Markle wasn’t ‘snubbed’ by Jeff Bezos

The stars jetted over to Venice last week for the so-called “wedding of the century”.

The Kardashians, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Sydney Sweeney, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump, and many more were in attendance at the ceremony.

Over 200 VIP guests were said to have watched the couple tie the knot in the $20 million ceremony.

It was reported that Meghan was left “seething” after not receiving an invitation. However, insiders have now said this is not true.

Speaking to RadarOnline.com, a source claimed: “Meghan is reeling after not receiving an invitation Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding as she considers herself more famous and important than guests such as the Kardashians.”

They went to allege the royal was upset she and Harry had ‘shifted’ from the Hollywood core social scene.

However, a source has hit back at the claims.

“The story and accusations made in it are completely false,” they told Royal Insider.

King Charles to scupper Meghan’s hotel plans

The story comes amid news that Meghan could be dealt yet another blow, this time by King Charles.

It’s been reported in recent weeks that Meghan could be moving into the hotel business via her As Ever brand. Reports say Meghan has trademarked her brand As Ever for a variety of potential services, including “hospitality services”.

This has sparked speculation that she may be considering opening a hotel or retreat

However, Grant Harrold, Charles’ former butler, has speculated that the king may be forced to step in if Meghan’s royal titles are used for commercial gain.

“If she was using her title for something, it’s possible they could step in,” Grant said. “But it wouldn’t be King Charles phoning up personally. It would likely go through Harry.

“The only thing they could do in the future is remove their HRHs, for example. Which is always a possibility,” he then continued.

“That’s the only thing they could do,” he then added.
