Cressida named her second child after her half-sister Pandora Cooper-Key, who sadly died last year.

She penned how her daughter had already brought about memories of her sibling.

“Sometimes, when I look into her eyes, I see a twinkle that reminds me of my sister Pandora,” she wrote.

Pandora Cooper-Key, the daughter of Sixties It girl Lady Mary Gaye Curzon and aristocrat Esmond Cooper-Key died on July 22 2024, aged just 51.

Pandora had suffered from various forms of cancer for two decades and had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Her death was a great loss to her family.

Cressida Bonas’ tribute to late sister

At the time of her death, Cressida penned an emotional message to her ceramist and designer sister.

She wrote to social media: “I will find you in the colors of life and moments of mischief. I’ll search for you in the stars and wherever there is dancing. I will turn the music up and dance more than ever before. I’ll look for you in my dreams where you’ll say, ‘Hi Smally,’ and tell me where you’ve been.

“Then one day, I’ll remember you said in one of your final days, ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about, I ain’t going nowhere…’ And I’ll realize, I never had to look for you at all. You were right here beside me all along, because, my darling sister, my heart is forever tied to yours.”

Cressida Bonas on fertility

Cressida has previously opened up about her struggle with fertility.

In a candid essay for the The Sunday Times, published just weeks after she welcomed her first child, son Wilbur, 2, Cressida admitted she was “extremely lucky”.

“I count myself extremely lucky that IVF worked for us the first time. But what I learnt from my experience is that whether you’ve been trying for months or years, there are too many couples who struggle along the infertility path in silence. The more we share our stories and lean on others, the lighter the burden of shame that comes with infertility. If it hadn’t been for the people who shared their experiences with me, I’d have felt very alone,” she penned.
