Royal fans have gushed over Princess Charlotte attending Wimbledon two years in a row and hope to see her there this year. The first time the royal attended was with parents and brother Prince George to the delight of followers.

She was only eight years old in 2023 when she first walked out with her family while watching the tournament. The Wales family attended the event to watch the men’s singles final. Charlotte looked adorable in a blue floral dress with white summer shoes as she walked alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales.

We take a look back at Princess Charlotte’s best moments at Wimbledon.

Princess Charlotte at Wimbledon

In 2023, during her first year the young royal had a matching blue ribbon in her hair to match her outfit. Meanwhile, George, nine, looked very smart in a suit.

The Princess of Wales stunned in green, wearing a £750 Roland Mouret dress. The Prince of Wales wore a light grey blazer with smart trousers.

Royal fans were delighted to see Princess Charlotte and Prince George at the Wimbledon finals at the time. One person gushed on Twitter: “Such a wonderful surprise to have the kids there! Princess Charlotte’s first time at Wimbledon.”

Another added: “The Prince and Princess of Wales are truly introducing their children to royal life and duties like the boss they are.

She also had an adorable interaction with King Felipe of Spain who was at the match. They were watching Carlos Alcaraz of Spain secure victory against Novak Djokovic of Serbia.

But it was when she cheered enthusiastically while watching the famous tournament that royal fans gushed over. She raised her arms up in the air and shouted at the incredible moments before her.

Standing next to mum Catherine

All eyes were on Princess Charlotte last year when she accompanied her mother and aunt Pippa Middleton for the 2024 final.

She looked adorable while wearing pink Ray Ban sunglasses and a navy blue chiffon polka dot dress from Guess Girls.

However, royal fans swooned when they saw her look up to her mother with pride with the Princess of Wales received a standing ovation from the crowd when she arrived. It was Kate’s second royal appearance on the year. She had previously attended Trooping the Colour weeks earlier and came after she had been absent while battling cancer.

 

10-year-old Charlotte seems to be taking after her parents as she was praised by Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce that year. He had met the princess, as well as her brother George, when they attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for Prince William‘s birthday that summer.

Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, called Princess Charlotte a ‘superstar’ and said she was ‘adorable’.

Royal’s sporty streak

The youngster is a fan of sport, her mother Kate Middleton revealed in 2023.

The Princess of Wales revealed during an appearance that year that Princess Charlotte is a fan of rugby and football.

Kate said: “Charlotte’s playing both the sports now, and it’s really good to see youngsters, particularly girls, playing these types of sports now.”
