Prince Harry 'caused too much damage' to William and royal family for reconciliation, fans say
Is there any way back for Harry?
Royal family observers believe Prince Harry has had too much of a negative impact on The Firm – and back Prince William ensuring his brother is kept out of the royal fold.
The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle stepped away from royal duties and left the UK in early 2020. The ensuing years have seen the couple dominate the headlines following bombshell revelations concerning his royal relatives in interviews, Netflix series and podcast appearances, and Prince Harry’s memoir Spare.
Furthermore, a ‘rift’ between the king’s two sons is said to have opened up – and the heir to the throne is said to have “absolutely no interest in mending fences”.

Will Prince Harry and Prince William reconcile?
However, amid recent claims Harry and Meghan would make three demands of his father King Charles ahead of any possible reconciliation, it seems a majority of royal family supporters see no reason to challenge the status quo.
Indeed, rather than seeking out a reunion, over three quarters of respondents to a poll seem to feel Prince William is entitled to move on from the drama involving his younger sibling for good.
That’s despite Prince Harry’s plea earlier this year to reach a detente with his family. He said in May: “Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. But I would love reconciliation with my family.
There’s no point in continuing to fight any more. Life is precious.
“There’s no point in continuing to fight any more. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
Prince Harry added to the BBC: “It would be nice to reconcile.”

Could Prince Harry ‘apologise’?
In recent weeks, however, one royal commentator indicated Prince Harry may have to ‘apologise’ for his conduct over the last five years.
In June, pundit Dickie Arbiter claimed ‘saying sorry’ would only be one step towards healing the alleged ‘rift’.
“There’s got to be a lot to happen between now and then,” Mr Arbiter said. He went on: “You can’t just brush everything under the carpet. The Oprah interview. The six hours of Netflix slagging off the royal family. The book Spare. You can’t just sweep that under the carpet.”
However, Royal Insider users, it seems, remain unconvinced about Prince Harry and Prince William, in particular, mending their relationship.

Is Prince William right to ‘turn his back’ on brother Harry?
A poll on Royal Insider has revealed an overwhelming 77% of those polled believe Prince William is right to ‘turn his back’ on his brother.
Meanwhile, less than a quarter – 23% – of those who registered their opinion think the two should should reconcile and get back to how they once were.
That’s despite reports in the past couple of months that allege King Charles could ‘take a first step towards reconciliation’.
However, it has also been claimed King Charles would not “go against” his eldest son’s wishes. And it seems Royal Insider users may have also ‘shut the door’ on Prince Harry, too.
