The Wales family attended Sunday's big match
Prince George and Princess Charlotte had an unforgettable end to their day at Wimbledon on Sunday (July 13) after receiving a thoughtful gift from the new men’s singles champion, Jannik Sinner, and their little brother, Prince Louis, wasn’t left out.
After Sinner’s four-set victory over defending champion Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday, the 23-year-old Italian tennis star met with the Prince and Princess of Wales and their two eldest children backstage.

During the exchange, which aired on the BBC, Sinner graciously signed three tennis balls, one each for George, Charlotte, and Louis, seven.
“Thank you so much, that’s really kind,” Kate, Princess of Wales, told him warmly.
“We brought one for their brother as well,” she added, gesturing to the third ball.
“Louis would be very upset otherwise,” Prince William chimed in with a smile.
Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, 10, made a surprise appearance in the Royal Box alongside their parents for the men’s final at Wimbledon on Sunday.
The royal siblings, who are both avid tennis fans, were impeccably dressed for the occasion. George wore a suit and tie. Meanwhile, Charlotte donned a ruffled cream dress with navy accents that matched her mother’s cobalt blue Roksanda ensemble.
The Princess of Wales has served as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, a role handed down from Queen Elizabeth II.
As part of her duties, she traditionally attends key matches and presents the trophies to the winners of the tournament.
This year, her appearance marked a public return after a scaled-back schedule due to her ongoing recovery from cancer treatment.
Just days earlier, she dazzled at the state banquet for the French president at Windsor Castle. On Saturday and Sunday, she was back in action courtside, cheering on the Wimbledon athletes.

Kate Middleton’s tribute to Prince Louis at Wimbledon
While George and Charlotte enjoyed the men’s final, Prince Louis wasn’t in attendance.
Although Louis has become a fan favourite at royal events thanks to his playful antics, he has yet to make his Wimbledon debut. Both George and Charlotte were eight when they attended Wimbledon for the first time.
Still, Kate made sure her youngest wasn’t forgotten it seems.
According to HELLO!, the princess wore a subtle tribute to Louis in her jewellery: a reported £3,000 Daniella Draper gold pendant set with April’s birthstone, a nod to Louis’ birth month.
I asked the kids if they play tennis and what kind of rackets they use. These kind of things.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, 2025 Wimbledon champion Sinner described the moment he met the royals as “amazing,” revealing how special it felt to engage with the young royals.
“In the beginning, I didn’t know what to say,” he admitted. “I asked the kids if they play tennis and what kind of rackets they use. These kind of things.”
He added: “You see how much they care about tennis and the sport itself. It’s very prestigious. I’ve been lucky to meet her and the whole family, and it was a very nice moment.”
