Prince Harry and Meghan Markle feature in the latest Real Housewives of London trailer – and royal fans couldn’t be less impressed.
A first look teaser for the third instalment in the Real Housewives franchise to be produced in the UK dropped this week.
And while it contained the usual ostentatious displays of avarice and inauthentic rows filled with screeching and wailing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also dragged in as one cast member apparently prepared for an engagement with King Charles.
Are Harry and Meghan in Real Housewives of London?
At one point during the near-three minute preview, cast member Panthea Parker is seen travelling in the back seat of a car with her husband.
Hubby Ed is heard telling her ahead of a toe-curling reality TV exchange: “Okay, my darling, off to the palace.”
Seemingly on their way to a Buckingham Palace bash, Ed is seen warning his wife over her conduct after she ponders bringing up “Megxit” with the monarch. You know, when Harry and Meghan shockingly quit their senior royal roles in 2020 and moved to the US.
“I’m going to go: ‘How do you feel about Harry and what he did?'” she claims.
But as lawyer Ed ponders a pamphlet, he suggests guests are briefed to show a little more decorum.
‘Do not ask the monarch about Harry and Meghan’
“It says, specifically, ‘Do not ask the monarch about Harry and Meghan,'” he tells her.
People.com reports Ed was “likely joking”. The showbiz outlet also claims: “Buckingham Palace typically doesn’t provide guidance on talking points to guests of royal events.”
How royals fans have reacted
Meanwhile, while it seems the chances of Prince Harry and his wife making an actual appearance in the Hayu show are low, supporters of the royal family did not seem to be charmed by the Real Housewives of London sneak peek.
“Using Harry and Meghan as publicity,” someone dismissed the trailer on X.
And even devoted RHoL fans seemed torn by Panthea’s approach to mingling with royals.
“The chick asking about Prince Harry and Megan Markle better tread extremely lightly,” warned one person on X.
Meanwhile, someone else posted: “I think I’m going to get my life from Panthea. But that Meghan and Harry comment… girl, not too much! #RHOLDN.”

Who is Panthea Parker?
According to The Sun, Panthea Parker is a socialite who shares snaps from her glitzy lifestyle on social media.
She is said to have rubbed shoulders with J.Lo when the megastar was booked as a guest at a wedding of Panthea’s friend.
Additionally, she shared on Instagram earlier this year how she attended an event at Downing Street. She is said to have explained at the time: “Not every housewife gets to waltz into 10 Downing Street and give the PM’s adviser an unsolicited TED Talk. But in the life of Panthea Parker, these things just happen!
“Beyond blessed. But honestly, if I wasn’t a housewife etc., I really should’ve stuck with A-level Politics. By now, I’d either be running the country or banned from Westminster!”
Meanwhile, in May, Panthea also shared snaps from a Buckingham Palace garden party. She gushed: “If there’s any garden party to go to, it’s the king’s at Buckingham Palace—naturally.”
