Lady Louise Windsor's 'luxurious reward' after 'coping with Prince George and Princess Charlotte'
The young royal had a big responsibility in her hands
Lady Louise Windsor was reportedly rewarded with a very special gift after she looked after Prince George. The royal showed off her expert babysitting skills at Princess Eugenie’s wedding in 2018.
The then 15-year-old was tasked with keeping her boisterous young relatives in check. Luckily for Louise, her hard work was rewarded with a luxurious treat relating to Strictly Come Dancing, which returns to screens in the UK on September 20.

Lady Louise Windsor ‘managed’ Prince George and Princess Charlotte
The eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh was put in charge of a lively group of pageboys and bridesmaids during Princess Eugenie’s nuptials to Jack Brooksbank in 2018.
Lady Louise Windsor‘s cohort included Prince George and Princess Charlotte, whom she had to keep an eye on.
It was here she reportedly earned her reward after navigating their unpredictable behaviour.
In his book Sophie: Saving The Royal Family, author Sean Smith explained how Lady Louise dealt with the gaggle of children: “She clung on tightly to the hands of the pageboys.
“One of whom was Prince George, the eldest son of William and Kate. But another, Louis de Givenchy, fell over as a strong gust of wind blew down the chapel steps.”
“Louise had to haul him smartly to his feet,” Smith penned. “Then, Princess Charlotte, George’s sister, took a tumble as well.”
Despite the windy conditions and the children’s boisterous behaviour, Lady Louise apparently acted as a “special attendant” and executed her role expertly.

Lady Louise Windsor helped Princess Kate avoid an embarrassing moment
During the ceremony, Lady Louise was seated by the Tindalls. It was here that Zara Tindall gave her a reassuring pat on the wrist.
Zara’s husband, Mike, also praised: “Well done.”
Later on in the day, it was Lady Louise’s mother Duchess Sophie’s fast reactions that were put on display when she aided Princess Kate.
As Kate and a group of other royals gathered outside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, a gust of wind nearly caused Princess Kate to have a Marilyn Monroe moment.
“Fortunately for Kate,” Smith documented, “she was standing next to Sophie, who placed a hand strategically to keep the dress down and then positioned herself close to her so that it wouldn’t happen a second time.”

Lady Louise Windsor’s special reward
Lady Louise Windsor was reportedly rewarded with a very fancy day out, courtesy of Duchess Sophie.
The young royal’s special outing was a trip to Elstree Film and Television Studios to see an episode of British show Strictly Come Dancing being recorded live.
Apparently, Louise was thrilled, especially as the programme is a family favourite.
“Often, [Sophie and Louise] would make the trek over to Windsor Castle and watch it with the Queen, who was also a fan. Camilla and Charles, too, watched it every Saturday,” Smith recounted.
The sparkling day out saw Strictly host Tess Daly give Sophie and Louise a backstage tour. She even escorted them to their seats in the front row.
Louise reportedly gushed to Tess: “This is such a treat.”
As the episode aired, fans gushed as they spotted Sophie and Louise in the audience.
