Fans 'spot' Lionesses star Chloe Kelly's hilarious remark at Euros final after collecting medal from Prince William
Fans watching praised the footballer for her amusing reaction
Lionesses hero Chloe Kelly has been lauded as a “legend” after an excitable encounter with Prince William after England’s triumphant Euro 2025 final.
Chloe, 27, smashed in the decisive penalty during Sunday (July 27) night’s shootout. England and Spain had been drawing 1-1 after extra time before she broke the deadlock.
But after Sarina Wiegman’s team secured back-to-back Euro tournament final victories, Chloe was spotted seemingly having a profane reaction to picking up her winner’s medal.

What did Chloe Kelly say after meeting Prince William at the Euro final?
The Prince of Wales, 43, was in attendance at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland, with his daughter Princess Charlotte, 10.
Fans were delighted to see the young royal taking in the action on the pitch. They even suggested she could have had a role on the podium as players from both sides were honoured after the match.
However, while Princess Charlotte may have more involvement with the Lionesses in the future, it was her dad who also had an official capacity to fulfil on Sunday.
He was seen sharing his warmest wishes with the England women’s team as they received their individual medals and team trophy.
And within moments of enthusiastically greeting Chloe, she was seen looking into a camera and making use of a four-letter word to emphasise her own feelings at the time.

How did fans react?
Many fans reckon she said: “[Bleep]ing come on!”
Seeing what Chloe was mouthing amused many of those watching at home. Many social media users also praised the Arsenal forward and suggested she should “take a bow”.
One fan dubbed her: “Chloe Kelly ‘[blank]ing come on’ Hah. Legend #Lionesses.”
A second agreed: “Chloe Kelly shaking hands with Prince William, then turning to the camera. Kissing her winner’s medal and saying ‘[blank]ING COME ON’ was the standout moment of the Women’s Euros for me #Legend.”

A fifth chipped in with: ‘[Blank]ing come on’ AHA Chloe Kelly take a bow #womenseuros2025.”
And yet another impressed onlooker added: “Terrific ‘[blank]ing come on!’ down the barrel of the camera from Chloe Kelly there. Elite.”

The monarch commended the squad in a statement: “For more years than I care to remember, England fans have sung that famous chant ‘football’s coming home’.
“As you return home with the trophy you won at Wembley three years ago, it is a source of great pride that, through sporting skill and awesome teamwork, the Lionesses have made those words ring true.
