Pamela Anderson's true feelings about Meghan Markle 'copying her' TV cooking show
The two shows sparked discussion from fans
Pamela Anderson has weighed in on the viral comparisons between her show Pamela’s Cooking with Love and Meghan Markle‘s With Love, Meghan.
Both shows premiered earlier this year, with Pamela’s series dropping on Flavour Network on February 24, just one week before Meghan’s lifestyle-meets-cookery show launched on Netflix on March 4.
The timing and striking similarities sparked speculation that Meghan, 43, might have taken inspiration from the Baywatch star’s concept.

But when asked directly about it during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week, Pamela didn’t bite.
“On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show?” host Andy asked during the Plead the Fifth segment. “There were articles saying these two shows were very similar.”
Pamela, clearly caught off guard, responded with a laugh: “One. I didn’t.”
When pressed again, she doubled down: “No, I didn’t really look. But I didn’t invent cooking shows. She’s just doing her thing.”
While Pamela is keeping it classy, Meghan’s show hasn’t exactly received the warmest welcome from critics.
With Love, Meghan was widely panned in reviews, with one review in The Guardian calling it a “gormless lifestyle filler” and The Telegraph branding it “an exercise in narcissism”. Despite making it into Netflix’s top 10 shows list days after it premiered, the cooking series failed to make it into the streaming giant’s top 300 shows for the first half of 2025.
However, a second season of With Love, Meghan is reportedly ready to go this fall, and sources claim a third season could follow.
Meanwhile, rumours are swirling that Meghan and Harry’s five-year Netflix deal, signed in 2020, may not be renewed when it ends in September. Still, insiders insist another deal could be on the horizon.

Meghan Markle’s As Ever news
Outside of television, Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever is thriving.
Following a rapid sellout of her debut Napa Valley rosé last month, the Duchess of Sussex just announced that her 2024 vintage will drop soon.
In a July 30 newsletter, Meghan thanked fans for their support. “Thank you for filling our cup,” she wrote. “Now it’s time for us to fill your glass!”
The new rosé is described as a “delicate yet memorable” blend that captures the sunny spirit of Napa Valley.
As Ever also teased the restock on Instagram, posting coastal snapshots with the caption: “Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week. Stay tuned for more details and timing.”
With two sell-out product drops, including wine, jam, honey, and floral sprinkles, she’s reportedly planning more seasonal launches.
However, in an episode of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan admitted that the quick sellout was not what she was aiming for.
“We planned for a year, and then everything sells out in 45 minutes. Which, yes, amazing. Great news,” she told guest Tina Knowles. “And then you say, ‘Okay, we planned as best as we could. Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour? Or is that annoying as a customer?’
“I want to move away from that scarcity mentality. I don’t want you to eat that jam once every six months; I want that to be on your shelf all the time.”
