Meghan enjoyed a lavish birthday it seems
Meghan Markle has shared a glimpse into her birthday celebrations with Prince Harry. Of course, it is unsurprising to see that the Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a luxurious 24 hours. Consequently, she has described her special day as “beautiful”.
Meghan, who turned 44 on August 4, took to social media to praise Harry, 40, and her loved ones for making the occasion so special.
Meghan Markle’s thanks for birthday celebrations with Prince Harry
The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram on August 6 with a new snap. It was here she could be seen sporting a white dress whilst leaning forward to blow out a candle on a floral cake.
The atmospheric, dimly-lit picture appeared to be taken at a restaurant, with a bar in the background.
Meghan, who wore her brunette locks down, had been gifted a cake decorated with flowers and a white candle.
She penned in the caption: “Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours.”

She went on to say: “And thanking my husband, friends, and family for making it so special.”
Meghan then gave a shoutout to the fancy spot where she ate dinner, a restaurant named Funke in Beverly Hills, California.
She said: “And just to get a little foodie on you….this dinner last night at @funke_la with the culinary mastery of @evanfunke and his team is in the top five meals of my life.
“Extraordinary. Thank you for a standout dining experience.”
Meghan rewears stunning Valentino dress
It was on this evening out that Meghan appeared to wear an embellished Valentino shift dress, decorated with flowers, which she previously wore in 2021.
Meghan was last snapped wearing the reported £4k ($5k) shift dress when she and Harry attended the Global Citizen Live charity concert in New York’s Central Park in September 2021.
Evidently, the outfit was the perfect fit to wear to the celebrity-frequented restaurant Funke, which has boasted guests like Kim Kardashian and Michelle Obama.
The classic number is described as “an off-white mini shift dress” on the website, Meghan’s Fashion.
It is decorated “with tonal floral embellishments, round neckline, short sleeves, and hidden zip back”.
Friends leave gushing messages for Meghan on her birthday
Meanwhile, a slew of Meghan’s pals took to social media to praise the former actress on her birthday. This included her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who described Meghan as “champagne in human form” and a “sister in this life and beyond”.
Meghan replied to Abigail, who was also celebrating her birthday on the same day: ‘Thank you, sweet Abs! Right back at you, and happy birthday to YOU! 44/4.”
Other friends close to the duchess who shared sweet tributes included Kelly McKee Zajfen, Tracy Robbins, and Jamie Kern Lima.
Jamie wrote online: “Happy birthday #meghan thank you for being love, light, and such a great friend to everyone who has the gift of truly knowing you!”
Daniel Martin, Meghan’s long-time friend and makeup artist who starred on With Love, Meghan, also shared a sweet message to Meghan. He exclaimed on Instagram: “HBD Sis!” alongside a snap of the pair.
As Ever shares sweet message for founder Duchess of Sussex
Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, shared its own tribute to its founder.
“Celebrating the woman behind it all,” the post read. “She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan.”
