Prince Harry 'desperately wants brother William's blessing for Princess Diana project'
Is it "what their mother would have wanted"?
Prince Harry is “desperately” keen on Prince William getting on board with his plans for a Princess Diana commemorative project amid claims of a rift between the royal brothers.
Since Prince Harry and his wife stepped away from royal duties as part of “Megxit”, the royal family has endured bombshell claim after bombshell claim in TV interviews featuring the Sussexes, as well as from the Duke of Sussex’s memoir Spare.
However, ahead of the 30th anniversary of the passing of their mother, Princess Diana, Prince Harry is said to remain hopeful that the occasion may bring him and his sibling back together.

Will Prince Harry get Prince William on side for Princess Diana project?
In May, Prince Harry conducted an interview with the BBC, claiming he “would love a reconciliation” with his relatives.
However, the antipathy on Prince William’s side is said to run deep. Indeed, despite speculation that King Charles may be open to healing any estrangement with his second son, the Prince of Wales is said to have “shut the door” on his brother.
Nonetheless, according to Closer, Prince Harry has his elder brother in mind when it comes to a special project. Furthermore, it is claimed Prince William’s involvement is what “their mother would have wanted”.
However, it is also suggested that any input from Meghan Markle could dash Prince Harry’s aims.

‘Harry is keen to mark anniversary with his brother’
Prince Harry is expected to bring the Invictus Games back to the UK in 2027. That year will also be three decades since Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris in August 1997.
A documentary is also said to be in the offing. But a source also reckons Prince Harry wants the royals to support him at the games.
The insider is said to have added: “Remembering Diana on the 30th anniversary of her death is also very important for her boys, and Harry is keen to mark it together.”

‘Harry desperately wants his brother’s involvement’
But the source is also quoted as claiming Prince William is unlikely to join forces with his brother if Meghan is involved.
They are said to have revealed: “Harry desperately wants his brother’s involvement, or at least his blessing. And he wants to be able to return to his homeland without fearing tension or drama, as he strongly feels it’s what their mother would have wanted.
William doesn’t want Meghan anywhere near a project about Diana.
“But William is hesitant. He doesn’t want Meghan anywhere near a project about Diana. For him, it should only be about the brothers. William’s still hurt by the public attacks and sees no reason to patch things up on Harry’s timetable.”

Additionally, Kate, Princess of Wales, is also said not to regard making up with her brother-in-law as a priority.
“Her respect for Diana is beyond doubt. But she is not willing to stand next to Harry in a public display that feels forced,” Closer quotes a source as saying.
