Kate Middleton shares 'beautiful' message in new Instagram video amid summer break
The Princess of Wales gushed over the beauty of natureKate Middleton has spoken out in a new Instagram video as she enjoys her summer break with Prince William and their children.
The Princess of Wales, 43, narrated a new video as part of her “Mother Nature” series. It was shared to her and William’s joint Instagram page on Wednesday (August 13).
In the clip, shot by Will Warr, Kate encouraged people to “open your hearts; sing, dance, play” over the summer months.

The post was captioned: “MOTHER NATURE: SUMMER.
“Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. It has never been more important to appreciate the value of one another, and of Mother Nature. Here’s to Summer. C.”
Meanwhile, the video was a montage of different clips showcasing the best of summer.
One showed a bee buzzing around while another showed people making the most of the good weather by picking fruit, enjoying walks, swimming, and doing a spot of gardening.

Kate said: “Summer is a season for abundance. Just as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too are reminded of our own potential for growth. It is the time to ignite our inner fire and explore our own creativity, passions, and dreams.
“As we bask in the sunlit hours, friends and families come together; playing, connecting, being present. Embracing the joy to be found in even the most fleeting of moments and shared experiences.”
The princess added: “Our lives flourish when we cherish the bonds of love and friendship. So open your hearts; sing, dance, play. The days are still long, so simply love, and be loved.”
Royal fans loved hearing the Princess of Wales’ voice as she, William, and their kids enjoy a break from the spotlight.
One person said: “I could listen to HRH talk all day. Such a soothing voice.”
Another commented: “The Prince and Princess of Wales are coming out with the most absolutely stunning videos recently. Really love this style and message. Lots of hope for the future with these two as the king and queen. So refreshing!”
A third added: “This was a very beautiful message.”
Princess Kate on how nature has become her ‘sanctuary’
Kate previously spoke about her love for nature and how it has become her “sanctuary”.
In another Instagram video in May, Kate said: “Over the past year, nature has been my sanctuary. The natural world’s capacity to inspire us, to nurture us and help us heal and grow is boundless and has been understood for generations.
“It is through nature that we can fully understand the true interconnectedness of all things, the importance of balance and the importance of renewal and resilience.”
Kate has been focusing on her health this year after undergoing cancer treatment in 2024. She announced in January that she was in remission, and has continued to balance duties with her wellbeing.
