Jason Kelce worried over behaviour whilst meeting Prince William at Taylor Swift concert
Jason may not have made a good impression...
Jason Kelce, the brother of Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, worried that he had made a bad first impression on Prince William when they met.
Jason, who is an American football star, revealed his worries during Taylor’s appearance on the brothers’ sporting podcast, New Heights, where the beloved singer announced her twelfth album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Jason Kelce’s ‘panic’ over Prince William meeting
On the podcast episode, Taylor, Travis, and Jason reflected on their meeting with Prince William, Princess Charlotte, and Prince George when the trio of royals attended the singer’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London last year.
Shake It Off singer Taylor, Travis, Prince William, George, and Charlotte took the internet by storm when they posed for an iconic selfie at the time.
And it seems their meeting was very memorable for a number of reasons, including Jason’s worries over his behaviour.
Taylor Swift recalls meeting the royals
Singer Taylor recalled: “It was so good, it was London. It was Wembley Stadium. Those were such special shows.”
She then reminisced: “Wasn’t this the week I got to watch Jason meet the royal family?”
Jason then explained he was concerned about whether he should be holding a beer as he was introduced to the future king.
Is it disrespectful to have a beer when you meet royalty?
Travis exclaimed: “He was like, ‘What do I do with my beer?'”
Taylor then detailed how she “knew he was serious” when Jason considered putting his beverage down.
She quipped: “I watched him have this moment with his beer where he was like, ‘But I want to take it. But I know that I probably should not take it.'”
The Love Story hitmaker went on to joke: “I watched this happen, and it kind of was the most amazing…”

Taylor Swift recalls reunion with Prince William
Taylor then imitated Jason and said: “Like if I don’t have my beer, what do I do with this hand, or am I just being authentic by having the beer? I would normally have the beer. Wouldn’t they want me to be myself?”
“I’m watching you say that in your head, and it was fantastic,” she told Jason.
Jason then admitted: “I like that you picked up on it because that was exactly what was going through my head.”
He then questioned: “Is it disrespectful to have a beer when you meet royalty?”
Taylor laughed: “I don’t know. I’ll always remember that.”
Prince William, George, and Charlotte enjoyed their glittering night out at Wembley to celebrate William’s birthday at the time.
And, of course, Charlotte is known to be a huge fan of Taylor!
Taylor penned alongside their selfie at the time: “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.”
