Meghan Markle teases what we can expect from With Love, Meghan season two
Meghan whipped up a delicious recipe but it wasn't to everybody's taste...
Meghan Markle has promised “so much goodness is coming soon” ahead of the release of season two of With Love, Meghan – but social media users have not all been won over by her latest cooking skills.
The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series returns to Netflix with new episodes on Tuesday, August 26. And last night (Tuesday, August 19), a week before the latest season drops, Meghan shared a taster of what could be coming.
She gave a quick demonstration of a one-pan lemon spaghetti recipe, seemingly from her Montecito kitchen. But not everyone watching her video was convinced it was worth making themselves.

Meghan Markle shares pasta recipe ahead of With Love, Meghan season two
“Cooking up more than pasta (with homemade preserved lemons)… so much goodness is coming soon,” Meghan wrote in Instagram post caption.
Spied briefly in the footage, Meghan looked relaxed in a white shirt and blue jeans. The 44-year-old’s hands and fingers came in for more screen time, as she was shown chopping lemons, onions, and garlic on a chopping board.
She fried the ingredients off in a pan and covered the dish in olive oil and spaghetti before finishing it off with a garnish flourish, more oil, and grated Parmesan.
However, over on X, some of those reacting to Meghan’s recipe found fault with her approach in the kitchen.

‘She has no idea what she’s doing’
One user, possibly sarcastically, wrote as they shared the clip: “Someone’s been secretly taking knife skills classes.”
However, someone else replied by claiming: “She hasn’t taken a knife skills class. She still puts her index finger on top of the blade. No competent home cook does that. She has no idea what she’s doing.”
Another detractor echoed that thought, adding: “No she hasn’t been taking knife skills classes. She still uses her pointer finger over the top of the blade when cutting.”

And Meghan’s use of a knife was also considered imperfect when it came to how she handled the garlic.
“Crushing the garlic made me laugh. She hit the knife from a height, not recommended. Simply applying pressure/weight on the blade using the base of the palm,” another observer claimed.
Clip that long hair back when you cook!
Meanwhile, someone else found fault with Meghan as they claimed: “Rule no 1 in the kitchen: clip that long hair back when you cook!”
And another user concurred: “A proper chef keeps hair in a net or tied back.”

‘Can’t wait to try this’
However, many supporters also made it clear how much they have enjoyed cooking like Meghan previously.
“Can’t wait. Her one Pot Pasta is still on rotation in my house,” said one inspired X user.

Another wrote: “There’s a lot of excited people out there looking forward to this, I for one cannot wait. I tried most of the recipes in the last one and used some tips she gave.”
And someone else added: “Honestly, lemon and pasta is such an underrated combo. Can’t wait to try this.”
With Love, Meghan season two will premiere on Netflix on August 26.
