Meghan Markle at centre of AI conspiracy as fans question if With Love, Meghan photo is 'real'
But many have seemingly worked out the truth...Meghan Markle is at the centre of a rather interesting conspiracy theory as fans are speculating over whether a photo on social media is AI or real.
Members of the royal family find themselves caught up in conspiracy theories quite frequently. Take Kate, Princess of Wales, for example. Before she had announced her cancer diagnosis to the world last year, there were a number of crazy rumours about why she hadn’t been seen in public.
But now it seems Meghan, 44, is at the centre of a whole new AI conspiracy theory. And it’s all over a photo of her seemingly wearing double denim… yep, you read that right.

Latest AI conspiracy theory about Meghan Markle
Last week, a trailer was released for season two of the duchess’ Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan – also on the same day Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album was revealed.
The trailer was filled with teasers on what we can expect, including celebrity guests, when the season premieres on August 26.
However, after the trailer was released, images began circulating appearing to show Meghan wearing a double denim outfit on the show. The image showed her wearing a short-sleeved denim shirt which was tucked into denim jeans. And fans thought the outfit looked so “ridiculous” that it must have been AI.
Also, there’s no other evidence of Meghan wearing the denim outfit on the show.
Taking to X, one fan shared an image of the outfit, and asked if anyone else thought it was fake.
They penned: “She looks ridiculous! Is this real or AI?”
Another responded: “I think it’s fake. I haven’t been able to find it on any of her accounts.”
“Pretty sure this is AI,” a second added.
A third commented: “That has to be AI!? Denim is also on the counter and I don’t believe sewing is part of her show.”
This has been photoshopped. This is the real picture.
However, some people thought the photo was actually real. One wrote: “It looks like AI but I think it’s actually accurate.”
So is the photo real or fake?
As it turns out, it seems the double denim image is actually fake. Another X user pointed out that the image seems to be of the duchess on With Love, Meghan season one, which premiered in March, and someone has photoshopped the denim outfit onto her.
In the season one clip, she was wearing a dark t-shirt tucked into black jeans – much more her normal style.
The X user wrote: “This has been photoshopped. This is the real picture.”

Other Meghan Markle conspiracy theories…
This isn’t the only bizarre conspiracy theory to have Meghan Markle at the centre.
Earlier in the year, social media users accused Meghan of faking her St Patrick’s Day post, believing she was lying.
Meghan posted some snaps on Instagram of her making green waffle batter, dyed with festive food colouring. She simply poured them into a waffle press and had her finished product of green waffles.
But some fans believed the waffle iron lines on the food didn’t line up with the iron Meghan showed off.
At the time, one user shared an image of Kellogg’s green apple flavoured waffles on X, claiming that’s what she actually used. They penned: “We have all seen Meghan’s fake waffle iron waffles she posted on Instagram. Not the correct lines on them from the waffle iron. She didn’t fresh make them for her kids. She used these frozen waffles.”
Meanwhile, for many years, Meghan has faced baseless conspiracies that she used a surrogate and a moonbump to fake her pregnancies. Of course, these rumours are not true.
So while some conspiracy theories are quite out there, whoever made the AI Meghan Markle denim image definitely caused a stir online!
