Meghan Markle’s latest recipe hasn’t gone down well with fans. In fact, many are displeased with her “unappetising” post on Instagram.

And unfortunately for Meghan, she appeared to have posted a glimpse at what she was cooking up to promote the new season of her Netflix show. Oh dear…

Meghan Markle’s ‘unappetising’ recipe

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Meghan shared a snap of some crisps frying in a pan with the caption: “New season of With Love, Meghan August 26 on @netflix.

“Dare I say, ‘It’s all that… and a bag of chips.'”

Meghan added the quote, which means something is cool and is associated with Will Smith who said the line in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, to highlight just how much she is looking forward to the next season of With Love, Meghan.

Unfortunately, her excitement didn’t evoke the same feeling in her followers, who flocked to X to complain about the snap – despite it evidently showing Meghan was still cooking the crisps.

Meghan Markle’s followers complain

“Those are chips [crisps]? Would never have guessed,” one complained.

Another said: “This isn’t new, exciting or inventive. I tried making chips with my kids 30 years ago.”

A third moaned: “Beige. Not even healthy enough to be beige actually. Not appetising.”

“Ok I get it they’re still being cooked and not yet browned, but potato chips? I think we ALL can make potato chips. Is this and pasta the extent of her cooking skills? Thus far I’ve seen nothing she’s made that I’d want to try,” stated another.

Despite the complaints, many fans are still looking forward to the second season. One gushed on X: “Loved season 1. So many great tips I could actually use! Looking forward to season 2!”

Another wrote: “Let’s go! Can’t wait for my favorite show to be back.”

A glimpse at With Love, Meghan season two

It comes just a couple of days after Meghan teased a recipe for lemon pasta. The duchess was seen cooking up a storm in her Montecito mansion in the footage, where she could be seen chopping up ingredients and plating up lemon infused spaghetti.

She penned alongside the clip: “Cooking up more than pasta (with homemade preserved lemons)… so much goodness is coming soon.”

Meghan’s first season of her Netflix show aired in March and a second season will premiere on August 26, which was reportedly filmed at the same time as the first series.

A Christmas special has also been recorded.

Meghan Markle’s latest product launch

The Duchess of Sussex really has been busy lately, as she recently launched another product from her luxurious lifestyle line, As Ever.

Although, this product seems to have been less of a hit compared to her other products which sold out within minutes, as the 2024 Napa Valley rosé is still in stock online.

A month earlier, Meghan’s 2023 rosé sold out within an hour.

In a bid to seemingly boost sales, Meghan’s brand took to social media to promote the beverage.

“Cheers to summer’s final sips,” the caption read, alongside a clip of the wine being poured on an aesthetic background. “Fill your glass with our founder’s favourite pour, available for a limited time.”

Only time will tell to see if Meghan’s new season of With Love, Meghan will be a hit with viewers. Stay tuned…
