Meghan Markle has addressed a “truly terrible” mistake made on the evening of her engagement to Prince Harry.

How did Prince Harry propose?
It has been reported on many occasions that Prince Harry and his then-girlfriend were enjoying a cosy night in at Frogmore Cottage when he asked her to marry him.
However, over the years, the exact details about what they were up to at the time have become blurred.
That’s because, at various points, it has been suggested that Prince Harry was cooking dinner, or that they were preparing a meal together.
She said during their engagement interview: “[We were] trying to roast a chicken and it just – just an amazing surprise.”
Now, however, it seems Meghan – who has also been identified as the one in the charge of what they were eating that evening – may have been the head chef.
She’s also big enough to admit she blundered somewhat. But now, Meghan’s roast chicken dish is one she prepares at least once a week.

‘I made a horrible chicken that night’
The problem, according to Meghan, seems to stem from her recipe losing something in translation.
Meghan tells Samin: “I will say when I made a roast chicken for my now-husband I was still having a lot of challenges with the conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit.”
Meghan continues: “I made a horrible chicken that night. I mean, truly terrible.”

However, Meghan also concludes an awful meal can still be cherished.
The point is you can make a terrible chicken and someone is still going to appreciate the thought.
“The point is you can make a terrible chicken and someone is still going to appreciate the thought,” she adds.
Hopefully, despite the mix up, both were also able to appreciate the chicken being cooked through!
With Love, Meghan season two premieres on Netflix on August 26.
