Meghan Markle's awkward moment asking former lawyer if he watched her in Suits
Season two of With Love, Meghan premiered this week
Meghan Markle had a slightly awkward exchange in season two of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan after bringing up her time on Suits.
Episode seven of season two, released on August 26, sees Meghan leave the rented Montecito home where she films to embark on a “girls’ trip” to Malibu with her close friend Heather Dorak.
The pair take part in a cocktail-making class with mixologist Payman Bahmani-Bailey, where the conversation unexpectedly turns to Meghan’s acting past.

Meghan Markle shot down by former lawyer
During the class, Meghan asked Bahmani-Bailey how he got into the profession.
“I was a lawyer in New York…” he began, prompting Meghan to jump in with, “And did you watch Suits?”
To Meghan’s visible surprise, the answer was not what she expected. With a laugh, Bahmani-Bailey bluntly responded, “No. I don’t watch basic cable. I like shows with curse words and stuff.”
Meghan laughed off the subtly shady response, replying, “Great! I love it,” before moving on with the segment.
The Duchess of Sussex played lawyer Rachel Zane on the hit cable drama for seven seasons before marrying Prince Harry.
Despite season one being widely panned by critics and failing to break into Netflix’s top 300, the series was renewed for a second season, with all eight episodes dropping on August 26.
The show mixes lifestyle content with celebrity cameos, featuring everything from cooking and crafting to candid conversations about Meghan’s personal and professional life.
This season includes appearances from Queer Eye star Tan France, Chrissy Teigen, Jay Shetty, José Andrés, Daniel Martin, Samin Nosrat, and even a brief cameo by John Legend.

With Love, Meghan reaction
In another memorable episode, Meghan joined Tan France and chef Christina Tosi to recreate McDonald’s-style apple pies using puff pastry.
During the session, Meghan revealed an unexpected confession.
“I don’t like baking because it’s so measured,” the duchess admitted.
She added that she prefers spontaneity in the kitchen. “I love the idea of being able to rethink baking to be just a little more spontaneous.”
Her comment comes shortly after the launch of her As Ever wellness and lifestyle brand, which debuted with ready-made shortbread cookies, jams, crepe mixes, and Meghan’s now sold-out flower sprinkles, which she proudly showcased in the episode.
Tan France couldn’t resist joking when Meghan explained what she was adding.
“Flower sprinkles. I love them,” Meghan said.
“Wow, that’s the gayest [bleep] I’ve seen in a long time,” Tan quipped, making Meghan burst into laughter.
Season two of With Love, Meghan is part of the Sussexes’ renewed Netflix deal, which gives the streamer first refusal on future projects.
Season two showcases Meghan’s creative side, from flower-arranging and candle-making to jewellery crafting and DIY overnight bag packing. Netflix confirmed that a With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration special will air this December as part of Harry and Meghan’s extended partnership with the streaming giant.
