Princess Lilibet stole hearts in a rare new home video shared by her mom, Meghan Markle, showing the four-year-old’s reaction to Prince Harry’s sweet “surprise” gift for the Duchess of Sussex.
On August 26, Meghan, 44, posted a short video to her Instagram Stories featuring Lilibet, whom she shares with Harry, 40. The couple are also parents to six-year-old Prince Archie.
“Morning surprise from my husband,” Meghan wrote over the clip, adding a teary-eyed emoji.

The video, which appeared to be filmed in the kitchen of the Sussexes’ Montecito home, showed Princess Lilibet giving a gentle kiss to a large black-and-white framed photo.
The frame was tied with a ribbon and propped against the kitchen island.
The photograph captured Meghan with the family’s late beagle, Guy, whose death the duchess announced in January.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet both featured in Meghan’s emotional video tribute to her beloved rescue dog earlier this year.
Lilibet’s gesture highlights just how much Guy is missed by the family.
Barefoot and dressed in printed baby-pink pyjamas, Lilibet’s long, flowing hair framed her face as she sweetly kissed the photo before wandering off camera.
Meghan then zoomed in on the picture while the classic Mary Wells song “My Guy” played softly in the background.
Prince Harry’s thoughtful present came on a particularly significant date for Meghan.
August 26 marked both International Dog Day and the premiere of season two of her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan.
The duchess also launched new products from her As Ever brand the same day, including a limited-edition orange marmalade.
Guy, whom Meghan adopted in 2015 after he was rescued from a Kentucky kill shelter, was a beloved member of the family. The framed photo served as both a touching tribute and a reminder of the bond they shared.

The video quickly sparked mixed reactions from royal watchers. Some questioned why Meghan appears to share more photos and videos of Lilibet than Archie.
“It’s really sad that almost all photos or videos released are just of L and that A isn’t included”, one commenter wrote.
Another added: “Poor little Archie, he seems to miss out on all these videos.”
However, several fans defended the duchess’s choices, suggesting Archie’s absence is likely circumstantial.
“Try and focus, there are loads of A,” one person replied. “Chances are Lili is more outgoing! I was shy; I was never on display! Everyone had pics of my brother, hardly any of me. It happens!”
Another pointed out the practical explanation. “A is probably at school.”
Meanwhile, Meghan fans gushed over the young royal.
“So sweet and adorable!” One wrote.
“Lilli is just so sweet,” another agreed.
While Meghan and Harry have remained relatively private about their children, rare moments like these offer a glimpse into the family’s life in Montecito.
