She is studying for an English degree and is in her fourth year. She is expected to graduate next summer. Lady Louise started at the university, where Prince William and Princess Kate attended in the early 2000s, in 2022.
University life can be exhausting due to its repetitive nature and constant studying. An acquaintance of Lady Louise, 21, has reportedly shared that she is a hardworking student who likes to stay active by participating in competitions and keeping busy with extracurricular activities.

Lady Louise Windsor’s ‘student job’ at St Andrews University
Speaking to The Telegraph in November 2024, an acquaintance and fellow St Andrews student has said that Lady Louise “works a student job during the week, in the canteen, and she takes part in a lot of student theatre productions”.
This highlights her hard work and dedication. This also shows that, like Prince Edward, her father, she has taken much interest in the arts. Edward worked in theatre production before he became a full-time working member of the royal family.
“She was really good,” the student added of Lady Louise’s theatre performance, expressing their observation, suggesting that Lady Louise has a good reputation on campus and stands out due to her hardworking nature.

Role in cadet training
It has also been reported that Lady Louise joined the University Officer Training Corps at St Andrews as a cadet.
A source told The Sun in January 2025: “Louise has loved every minute of being a member of the officer cadets at university. She’s received basic Army officer training and is more determined than ever to serve King and country in the future.
“She fitted the officer training corps around her studies and has benefited hugely from the skills that she’s been taught.”
Managing such a packed schedule is no small feat, and it can be challenging for anyone juggling multiple responsibilities.

Rumours also suggest that the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh is not expected to carry out royal duties after graduation, as “she is interested in pursuing a career in the military, diplomacy, or law,” which can reportedly be seen on her LinkedIn page.
Unlike some other members of the royal family, Lady Louise’s education has remained relatively private. For example, her exact A-level results were kept private. But her academic success is apparent from her meeting the entry requirements for St Andrews University.

Does Lady Louise have a boyfriend?
Even someone as hardworking as Lady Louise has her own experiences with finding love it seems.
Louise has been linked to Felix da Silva Clamp, a fellow St Andrews student. And, according to recent reports, he seems to be very supportive of her.
While she competed in the National Carriage Driving Championships recently, in images obtained by HELLO!, he was spotted “cheering and clapping from the sidelines,” according to an onlooker. Before the event, both were reportedly spotted having a “nice lunch”.

However, a romance between Louise and Felix hasn’t been confirmed.
