Meghan Markle shares beautiful rare video with mother Doria Ragland for her birthday
How cute!Meghan Markle has shared a rare video with her mother, Doria Ragland, on social media.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, took to her Instagram story to celebrate her “beautiful” mum as she celebrated her 69th birthday yesterday (September 2).

The cute boomerang video shows Meghan kissing her smiling mum on the cheek.
The clip was accompanied by the caption: “Happy birthday to my beautiful mom!” and surrounded by pink love hearts. “Happy Birthday” by Stevie Wonder played in the background.
It’s unknown whether the pair did anything special to celebrate the special occasion. Two years ago, Meghan and Doria were spotted enjoying a mother and daughter night out to Beyoncé to mark Doria’s 67th birthday.
It’s rare for Meghan to show her parents on social media.

Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, and Doria were married in 1979, but are believed to have separated when Meghan was just two years old. They officially divorced four years later.

Between the ages of two and nine, Meghan reportedly lived primarily with her mother, with her dad continuing to co-parent. Then, from nine to 18, she reportedly moved to live with her father, while Doria pursued her career.

However, Meghan appeared to become estranged from her father around the time of her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018.
The family dominated headlines as Thomas went back and forth over whether he would attend the wedding. After three reversals, he decided not to make the journey over the pond, due to undergoing heart surgery.
The pair are allegedly no longer on speaking terms, and it’s believed Thomas still has yet to meet Prince Harry, as well as his grandchildren, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.
In the end, Doria was the only member of Meghan’s family to be present at the occasion. She joined her daughter in the car to travel to the ceremony at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. There, Meghan’s father-in-law, King Charles, stepped in to walk her down the aisle.
Meghan and Doria continue to share a close mother-daughter bond. Reports suggest that Doria lives close to Harry and Meghan in California and even has a “granny annex” at their Montecito home. The Duchess of Sussex has described her as a “rock” to their young family.
Doria even made a brief appearance in the final episode of the first season of Meghan’s With Love, Meghan Netflix series. She joined other members of Meghan’s circle for a celebratory brunch.
