Together at Christmas 2025

As reported by HELLO!, the Royal Foundation has confirmed the Christmas concert will take place in its most recent accounts, published in August.

In the section “What’s next for the Royal Foundation?” it stated: “2025 will see the Royal Foundation continue to tackle the illegal wildfire trade, work towards demonstrating that it is possible to end homelessness, highlight the vital importance of the early years and work with communities so they can thrive.

“Finally, to close 2025, the Together at Christmas will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK to celebrate people who have gone out of their way to help others with even more impactful local services.”

However, Kensington Palace has not yet announced the exact date for this year’s event. But based on previous years, it takes place in early December – just before Christmas.

Does Kate Middleton attend the Christmas concert?

Last year, Kate attended the Together at Christmas concert alongside Prince William and her three children. The event took place mere months after she announced the end of her cancer treatment.

When she was greeting guests at the service, Kate spoke about the “challenging times” that year, and even admitted she “didn’t know” what 2024 would bring.

The Together at Christmas will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK.

It’s not only Kate and William who attend, as a number of royals gather together to show their support. Last year they were joined by Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Zara Tindall, Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Lady Gabriella Windsor.

What happens at the concerts?

More than 1,600 guests attended the event last year, held in Westminster Abbey. Last year, the concert was dedicated to “those who have shown love, kindness and empathy to others in their communities”.

Each guest received an Order of Service, with a beautiful bespoke illustration by illustrator Charles Mackesy. And they also got a very special letter from Kate, Princess of Wales, thanking them for their work.

For fans at home wanting to watch the Together at Christmas concert for their chance to spot Kate and Prince William, then they could enjoy watching it on their TVs. The concert is broadcast on ITV1 on Christmas Eve. Last year it had 3.3million viewers.
