Kate Middleton has made a confession about the height of her son, Prince George.

How tall is Prince George?

Prince George’s height hasn’t been confirmed. However, the Princess of Wales is reportedly 5 foot 7 and George seems to be catching up to her.

On Thursday (September 4), William and wife Kate visited the Natural History Museum in London. It marked their first official royal engagement since their summer break.

Over the holidays, their family of five had some time away at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, with the king and queen and other members of the royal family.

Unfortunately, in classic British style, a planned tour of the museum’s gardens with a group of South London school children was cut short due to a torrential downpour. The royals were instead forced to rush into the museum itself.

Kate was reportedly seen holding her umbrella over some of the children and telling their teachers: “Let them go in, let’s take them inside, it’s pouring.”

The Princess of Wales in particular caused a stir, as she debuted a new, blonder hairstyle, sparking many compliments from royal fans.

As always, she also spent time happily chatting away with those who had come out to greet her.

During one lovely interaction, shared on social media, she even made a surprise admission about son Prince George’s height.

George is already in my shoes.

As one member of the public quizzed Princess Kate about her kids, her eyes immediately lit up.

“Oh yeah, they’re getting big now!” She said, full of joy.

Holding a hand up to her own height she went on to add: “George is already in my shoes.”

George, Charlotte and Louis return to school

William and Kate’s museum trip of course coincided with back to school season for their children, George, Charlotte and Louis.

The three of them all attend Lambrook School in Berkshire. However, it will be the last year of the trio all being together, as the school only takes children up to the age of 13.

Next September, George will therefore embark on an exciting new chapter. It is not yet known what secondary school the royal family have chosen for him. There has been speculation over whether he will follow in his father Prince William’s footsteps, to enroll at Eton College.

And, if a school move wasn’t enough, the family are also believed to have a house move on the horizon. It was announced over the summer that the Wales family would be moving from their four-bedroom home of Adelaide Cottage to the eight-bedroom Forest Lodge, also on the Windsor estate.
