Reason King Charles is 'currently less irritated with Harry than William' despite 'rift'
Prince William and King Charles may be on rocky footing

Prince Harry and King Charles’ unexpected meeting at Clarence House has sent shockwaves through royal media.
Now, many are scratching their heads over what this means for King Charles and his eldest son, Prince William.
Royal biographer Tina Brown has some pretty damning predictions when it comes to the Prince of Wales. She thinks that Harry’s recent UK trip may have had a toll on William‘s bond with the monarch.

Prince Harry and King Charles’ meeting and the ‘impact’ on Prince William
Writing on her Fresh Hell Substack, The Palace Papers author believes that tension is brewing between Prince William and King Charles, especially as Charles seems to be patching things up with Harry.
And of course, as we know, William reportedly hasn’t been on good terms with his younger brother for years.
Brown thinks that William’s workload could be weighing heavy on his shoulders. Therefore, causing issues between the monarch and heir.
She even believes that Charles feels “criticised” by William’s doting father image, as it could be viewed as “tacit criticism” of his own past “shortcomings” as a parent.

King Charles is supposedly ‘irritated’ with Prince William
Speaking of Harry’s return to the UK this week, where he reunited with his father, the former editor-in-chief of Tatler, Vanity Fair and The New Yorker reflected on the prince’s success as he caused a stir back on home turf.
The king is, I am told, currently less irritated with the prodigal Harry than he is with his elder son and heir.
Harry’s eventful trip – which included a poignant trip to Queen Elizabeth II’s grave, attending the WellChild Awards and two unbelievably generous donations to charities – could be “bad news for the Prince of Wales”.
“The king is, I am told, currently less irritated with the prodigal Harry than he is with his elder son and heir,” she claimed. “Somehow, William’s parenting dedication always seems couched as a tacit criticism of the king’s own paternal deficiencies. And after five confirmed family vacations in the past seven months, William’s first-week-back diary pulsated with two outings: a father-daughter excursion to a Women’s Rugby World Cup pool match and a stroll through the Natural History Museum’s new gardens. Charles, despite his battle with cancer, has carried out official engagements on 175 days during the past 12 months.”
Prince Harry has finally ‘got it right’ claims royal biographer
Brown continued: “At last, Prince Harry has got it right, which is bad news for the Prince of Wales. After five years of exuding choler and wrath and spouting therapeutic gibberish, the ginger whinger finally realised that all the royals have to do to win public enthusiasm is zip around the UK and smile. Harry’s own reset, a positivity campaign he hopes will endear him to his still estranged father and a negative British public (those cheers in Nottingham were a good start), came with a new unexpected gambit—a contribution from his own bank account of £1.1 million to the Children in Need project.”

The esteemed biographer pointed out that Harry’s generosity may raise questions when it comes to William’s pay packet.
She claimed: “It cannily unleashed for William the uneasy question of what exactly the 43-year-old Prince of Wales is doing with the £23million a year.”
Prince Harry and King Charles’ meeting caused a stir
It comes after Prince Harry has kept things low-key following his reunion with his father. It seems the duke is remaining tight-lipped as he simply said: “Yes, he’s great, thank you,” in response to questions about the king.
Could Harry and Charles be on the brink of a proper reconciliation? And could this push Wills out?
