Arrests made over Windsor Castle incident as Donald Trump lands in UK
On Tuesday night, President Trump landed in the UK for his state visit.
It is the first time that a US president has had two state visits to the UK. He will be meeting King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate, Princess of Wales, during his visit.
However, some people seem unhappy with the president’s visit and made it their mission to make him aware of this.
Earlier in the day, a banner, created by protestors, was unfurled near Windsor Castle. The banner featured pictures of Trump and Epstein together.
Trump and Epstein were friends in the 1990s and early 2000s. They reportedly had a falling out before Epstein’s death in 2019. Trump has never been officially accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
Epstein and Trump’s association has made headlines recently after the House of Representatives Oversight Committee last week made public an alleged birthday letter the president wrote for Epstein 20 years ago. However, the White House has denied the authenticity of the letter.
