Meghan Markle 'especially supportive' of Prince Harry as fans spot her 'clingy' behaviour
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a charity eventAn expert has said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t “afraid to display affection in public” as fans spotted her “clingy” behaviour during a recent charity appearance.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended Kevin Costner’s One805LIVE! event on September 20. The annual charity event supports Santa Barbara County first responders.
Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, looked loved-up and happy at the event and now, a body language expert has weighed in.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots for Royal Insider, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed: “They clearly still share a very close bond. Meghan is especially supportive of Harry; she often touches his back or his elbow, showing her warmth and affection.
“They’re comfortable being tactile and aren’t afraid to display affection in public. It’s clear that their connection remains strong.”
Darren added: “Neither shows any signs of unhappiness, frustration, or anxiety.
“Instead, both display genuine microexpressions of happiness and joy – enjoying each other’s company, being out and about, and even interacting with the press.”

Meghan ‘clingy’ towards Harry, say fans
Meanwhile, after seeing photos and videos of Meghan and Harry at the event, some fans thought the Duchess of Sussex looked “clingy”.
One person said on X: “She is so needy and clingy,” alongside photos of the couple at the event.
Another wrote: “Not needy, but yes clingy.”
They’re comfortable being tactile and aren’t afraid to display affection in public.
A third commented: “What other couple do you see clinging to each other while the other is speaking?”
However, someone else wrote: “There isn’t nothing wrong with Meghan. Their intimacy and love for each other is clear to see. Nothing needy and clingy about that.”

One805LIVE! 2025
The One805LIVE! 2025 event was held at Kevin’s oceanside estate in Summerland, Santa Barbara County. The annual event raises critical funds for first responders in all three groups – Fire, Police, and Sheriff – across Santa Barbara County.
Both Harry and Meghan have attended the event in previous years.

During the event, Prince Harry presented the Heart of the Community Award to the County Fire Department’s Peer-to-Peer mental health program.
The event featured performances from the likes of Good Charlotte, The Fray, Thelma Houston, and Alan Parsons. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan’s friend, Oprah Winfrey, was also in attendance.
Meghan and Harry’s home in Montecito is also located in Santa Barbara County, a short drive from Summerland where Kevin’s estate is.
