Video of Meghan Markle singing on stage was not on our 2025 Bingo card
She can sing?!The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, once shocked fans with her surprising secret singing talents.
It’s known that Meghan, 44, was once a seasoned actress, having previously starred as Rachel Zane in legal drama Suits.
But apparently her performing talents don’t end there. It seems she also has another hidden skill up her sleeve…
Meghan Markle’s singing talents revealed
In a video clip, which royal fans have resurfaced over the years, Meghan has proven herself to be quite the singing sensation it seems.
The recording appears to show Meghan on stage with a friend, duetting in perfect harmony to Christmas classic, Santa Baby, in matching Santa hats.
According to the Daily Mail, the footage was taken at a talent show at Meghan’s alma mater, Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles, way back in 1998 when the duchess was only 17.
Her singing partner is apparently Natalie Fryman, a high school friend of Meghan’s who also went on to forge her own acting career, starring in Star Trek.
It’s unknown whether the girls ended up winning the competition, but they’d definitely get our vote!
The video of Meghan Markle singing has since received thousands of views and likes on TikTok, with many fans stunned by the duchess’ vocals.
She’s got a nice voice! I would like to hear her sing more.
“Wow, Meghan can sing too!” Commented one shocked viewer. “She’s so talented.”
Another person seemed equally shocked, commenting: “SHE CAN SING, WHAT?”
“She’s got a nice voice!” another person also agreed, adding: “I would like to hear her sing more.”
“Meg sings well… I never knew… multi-talented,” said a fourth.
Another TikTok user was busy imagining a dreamy scenario between Meghan and another musical royal.
“Kate plays the piano while Meghan sings! The thought gives me chills,” they said.
The Princess of Wales is also known for her musical talents, delighting fans in 2021 when she played the piano at her Christmas carol concert.
‘Now she’s going to sing’
Prince Harry has joked about his wife’s singing abilities in the past.
Earlier this year, the couple made an appearance at an opening event for Harry’s beloved Invictus Games, which included a performance of Feeling Good from Michael Bublé.
Taking to the stage, Harry told the crowd: “Well, thank God Michael Bublé sang. Can you imagine bringing him out here and him saying, ‘You know what? I didn’t come here to sing…’ Thank you for the introduction.”
He then ushered Meghan up to join him: “My wife and I—come on out here! Come on!”
As Meghan stepped up to the podium with him, Harry announced, “now she’s going to sing!”, pretending to run off stage.
Looking horrified, Meghan pulled him back and quickly shut the idea down with a firm “no!” as the pair burst into laughter.
