Prince William cruises around Windsor estate on an electric scooter
How cool!William, Prince of Wales, has delighted royal fans with his novel way of getting around the vast Windsor Castle estate.
If you thought you’d never see the royal zooming about on an electric scooter, think again!
However, his actions have caused some concern among royal fans.
Prince William’s interview with Eugene Levy
Prince William is one of the guests on the new season of Eugene Levy’s Apple TV+ series, The Reluctant Traveler.
In the fourth episode, the Prince of Wales candidly discussed how much he misses his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II. He also opened up about dealing with the “hardest year” of his life last year, as a result of his wife Kate’s and father King Charles’ cancer diagnoses.
The episode dropped on Friday (October 3).
William gave Eugene a tour of Windsor Castle in the episode. However, Eugene probably wasn’t expecting the way the future king made his arrival at Windsor.

“I do know he’s not prompt, and don’t think I won’t be bringing that up,” Eugene teased, checking his watch.
Seconds later, the Prince of Wales emerged from the distance, zooming in through the grand castle gates on an electric scooter.
Laughing in disbelief, Levy said in the voiceover: “Note to self, bucket lists are far from predictable.”
“Eugene, good morning,” the Prince of Wales greeted Levy as he hopped nonchalantly off the scooter, as if nothing had happened.
“Your Royal Highness, this is not what I was expecting. This is your mode of transportation?” Levy quizzed.
“It is round here, yes,” William confirmed, adding: “It gets around quite nicely round here, it’s quite fun!”

‘Why I love Prince William’
Safe to say, William’s fans seemed thrilled at the discovery.
“Fabulous entrance!” One person gushed in the comment section, “Feel like there needs to be a ‘taaadaaaah’ as he lands.”
Another person agreed: “Oh I love this! Our Prince of Wales is such a cool and down to earth guy.”
Someone else wrote: “I thought everyone knew that Prince William scoots around Windsor on his electric scooter. Eugene Levy’s reaction is awesome though.”
‘Concern’ over William not wearing a helmet
However, some royal fans noticed William wasn’t wearing a helmet. One person said on TikTok: “Where is his helmet?”
Another commented: “Wear a helmet!! Got to keep the future king safe!”
A third added: “They are fun, but dangerous.”
Someone else added: “No helmet. What happened to lead by example?”
According to the GOV.UK website, helmets are recommended but are not a legal requirement.
