On Saturday night (October 4), Meghan joined the likes of Anna Wintour at the Balenciaga fashion show in Paris. It was the duchess’ first time attending the event.
It was also her first time in Europe since 2023, when she appeared at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany.
While working as an actress in Suits, she was once a regular at both New York and Toronto Fashion Weeks.
Meghan first wowed in an all-white look as she attended a Balenciaga show. The duchess was supporting Italian fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, who was named creative director of Balenciaga in May 2025.
The outfit earned her many compliments, with Anna Wintour herself giving her seal of approval. She reportedly told the duchess she looked “amazing”.
Later on Saturday, Meghan changed outfits as she wore a backless black dress for an after-party.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s friend Daniel Martin had the task of doing her makeup in Paris, which, as you might imagine, was no mean feat.
I shut down, to be honest. I was so overwhelmed.
In an interview with HELLO! upon his return, the makeup artist has reflected upon the experience.
While emphasising that it was “truly an inspiring trip,” he nevertheless confessed: “I shut down, to be honest. I was so overwhelmed.”
Daniel, who also was also in charge of Meghan’s makeup for her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry, also added: “I mean, it was interesting because I hadn’t had a reaction like that since her wedding.”

Meghan’s makeup secrets
Daniel also shared some secrets behind how he had achieved 44-year-old Meghan’s glowy look, after many fans were begging for the duchess’ secrets!
These included lots of serum as a base under her makeup, applying foundation with his hands rather than with a brush and only using powder in the T-zone of her face.
He revealed that it had been a more natural look than he was used to going for.
“Granted, fashion week is always about the clothes, but I saw less makeup inspiration than the states,” he told the magazine. “Like beauty culture in the states is so unique in that like there’s such a presentation with having a full face, whereas this season in Paris, it was just like a lipstick and skincare, or there was nothing on the eyes, or there was a lot on the eyes, but there’s nothing on the lip.”
Well, she certainly looked gorgeous!
