Meghan Markle’s under-the-radar As Ever move

On Saturday (October 4), just hours before making her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, Meghan’s brand, As Ever, made a major announcement.

The duchess’ lifestyle brand is expanding into the wine aisle, with a new As Ever-branded 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

The As Ever Instagram page uploaded two photos for its 878k followers over the weekend.

One picture showed a jar of apricot spread, and another of orange marmalade nestled in a box of straw.

The second photo was of the aforementioned Sauvignon Blanc resting in a wine bucket.

“We heard you missed us. We’re back… and we brought a friend,” the post was captioned.

Meghan launches wine for As Ever brand

The apricot spread and marmalade have been sold by the brand before, but the wine is a new addition.

The website goes into some more detail about the wine.

“Our first Sauvignon Blanc is bright and balanced, with citrus aromatics, a smooth finish, and refreshing versatility,” a description reads.

“Crafted for everyday dinners and celebratory gatherings alike, this thoughtfully made wine is perfect for sharing, gifting, and savoring in every season.”

The wine is priced at $30 (around £22) per bottle, and is being sold in batches of three, six, and 12. Buying 12 bottles costs $300 (around £223)!

Meghan and As Ever previously launched a 2024 Napa Valley Rosé and a 2023 Napa Valley Rosé.

Meghan’s trip to Paris

Just hours after launching the new wine, Meghan made a surprise appearance in Paris for Fashion Week.

The Duchess of Sussex attended the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2026 show. However, the duchess’ appearance in Paris made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

The mother-of-two came under fire after filming herself in the back of a car, allegedly near the tunnel where Princess Diana’s fatal car crash occurred back in 1997.

The video, uploaded to the duchess’ Instagram, showed her with her legs crossed resting on the interior of a luxury car as it cruised past notable bridges, reportedly including Pont Alexandre III and Pont des Invalides.

Although Pont de l’Alma, where Diana’s car crashed, wasn’t visible, her proximity to the site sparked criticism online.

Meghan set for London visit

Following her visit to Paris, Meghan has been tipped to make an appearance at London Fashion Week in February 2026.

According to Casino Beats, the duchess currently has odds of 2/1 to make an appearance at London Fashion Week in February 2026. This is despite not having been in the UK since the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022.

“Meghan Markle’s return to Europe has reignited her connection to the fashion world, and traders now see a London Fashion Week comeback as a very real possibility at 2/1,” Ollie Ring, a spokesperson for Casino Beats, said.
