Meghan Markle 'reveals fate' of With Love, Meghan on Netflix during Fortune interview
The Duchess of Sussex shared an update on her Netflix series
Meghan Markle has lifted the lid on what to expect next from her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, in a new interview with Fortune.
The Duchess of Sussex made a splash in March when her entertaining and cooking series made its debut. Since then, Meghan’s series has popped out a second season and a Christmas special is on the horizon.
But what about season three? And does With Love, Meghan have a bright future?

When asked whether viewers should expect a third season, Meghan gave an insight into her series, set at a rented mansion in Montecito, where she invites friends and special guests to cook and craft with her.
“The holiday special is coming out in November,” she said at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. “And it’s a really good one. So I think looking at that format, again, with a year of learns, we’re able to say eight episodes for two seasons, it’s a lot of work.
“And having done Suits for seven years, I remembered what goes into a production.”
The former actress also explained how the world of With Love, Meghan may expand.
She said: “I also recognise how much people want content in different sizes. So part of what we’re testing out now is: It’s amazing to be able to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes and where can I share that with you and how that continues to grow As Ever?
“So exploring all the options of what it could look like.”
When Meghan’s show debuted in March, it hit the streamer’s top 10. But when a second season came around in August, it didn’t manage the same achievement.
Meghan Markle’s future with Netflix
Despite the dip in accolades, it seems Meghan and the streaming giant have big plans together.
Netflix renewed their deal with the Sussexes in August, confirming their intentions to continue working together and to perhaps explore new ventures.

In 2020, Harry and Meghan signed a reported $100m deal with Netflix.
Now, they have a “multi-year, first look deal” with the streaming giant, which means Netflix will have the first option on the couple’s projects.
“My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal,” Meghan said at the summit in Washington on October 14.
“Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix, but has a home somewhere else.”
