Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'get the best seats' at Dodgers baseball game
The couple showed off their LA pride with matching Dodgers hats
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all smiles on Tuesday night as they stepped out for a date night at game four of the 2025 MLB (Major League Baseball) World Series at Dodger Stadium, where the Los Angeles Dodgers faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, now based in California, were spotted sitting front row, cheering for Meghan’s hometown team in matching blue Dodgers caps.

The couple’s surprise appearance quickly became one of the biggest talking points of the night, with cameras cutting to them several times during the broadcast and their image appearing on the stadium’s big screens.
Meghan, 44, looked effortlessly chic in a crisp white button-up shirt paired with dark trousers and a navy sweater draped over her shoulders.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry, 41, kept things casual in a white T-shirt layered under a black blazer with dark jeans.
The MLB’s official account on X shared a video of their arrival. The Dodgers Blue fan account later posted a photo of the couple with the caption: “Royalty is here tonight, and sitting in front of Koufax and Magic are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.”
Their prime front-row seats, however, sparked backlash from some Dodgers fans. Many were outraged to see Harry and Meghan seated in front of sporting legends like four-time World Series winner and Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax, and part-owner of the Dodgers, NBA icon Magic Johnson.

Sussexes bashed for front-row seats
“Prince Harry and his wife sitting IN FRONT of Sandy Koufax? Un-[bleeping]-real,” one user wrote on X.
“Why the hell are they in front of Sandy?” another fumed.
Another chimed in with: “Sandy Koufax is TRUE royalty! Those two clowns should be behind him.”
Still, not everyone agreed with the criticism. Several fans took to social media to defend the couple, praising their appearance.
“They look so nice! Go Dodgers!” One fan posted.
Another wrote: “Love these two! Prince Harry is truly an Angeleno now. I hope to see them cheering on my Lakers this season too!”

Lip reading expert decodes key moments shared between Harry and Meghan on date night
Following their widely reported upon date night, lip reading expert Nicola Hickling has analysed three key moments the couple shared and what they may mean.
In a clip shared to TikTok, the Sussexes can be seen swiftly navigating their way through the venue. The couple appeared to be in a rush and according to Nicola Hickling, who spoke to Betfair Slots, Meghan was keen to get to her seat.
In fact, her behaviour implied that she was a little tense as she waved off her assistant.
“As Harry and Meghan arrive, an assistant on Meghan’s left is speaking. At that moment, Meghan waves a hand in front of her face and says: ‘Quickly, gotta go, no, I am expecting it.'”
It is unsurprising that Meghan would be eager to get situated in a less exposed spot. Especially when her behaviour is typically scrutinised.
Later on, in another clip, Meghan appears to have relaxed a little and she and Harry can be seen clapping in the stands.
According to Nicola Hickling, Meghan asks Harry: “‘Is anyone here?’
“Harry looks at her and replies, ‘I can’t see.’ Meghan says, ‘Well, look over there.'”
It is unclear who Meghan is referring to. Either the duchess was hoping for a better view of the game or perhaps she was anxious they were being watched by paparazzi in the stands.
In a third clip, Meghan and Harry appear much more laid-back. In fact, they can be seen clapping and smiling whilst sitting in their seats.
And it seems that Meghan may have been keeping an eye out for an appearance on the jumbotron, as when she and Harry flash up on the screen, she allegedly pointed out: “Look, there’s one,” before grinning.
“Yeah,” Harry replied.
Meghan then exclaimed: “This is fun.”
Meghan Markle’s new As Ever collection
Despite the online noise, Harry and Meghan appeared relaxed and happy during the game. Their presence at the World Series marks a full-circle moment. Harry previously attended an MLB game in 2019 during the historic London Series between the Red Sox and Yankees, but this was his first World Series game.
The timing of their outing was also notable, coming just hours after Meghan launched her first As Ever holiday collection. The brand’s new products include hand-poured California candles, a 2021 vintage sparkling wine, and curated gift sets.
