Prince Harry's 'message' to Meghan Markle in emotional Remembrance letter
Harry's letter was very "nostalgic"Prince Harry has penned a lengthy and emotional letter for Remembrance Day. But it seems it may have contained a secret message to Meghan Markle.
In honour of Remembrance Day, Prince Harry penned a 647-word letter. He was expressing his pure pride in fighting for his home country.
Previously, Harry undertook two frontline tours to Afghanistan and so in his letter, he details the privilege of serving with men and women from all of the UK. But it seems his letter could also be interpreted as having a hidden message.

What did Prince Harry say in his letter?
The very lengthy letter, titled The Bond, The Banter, The Bravery: What it means to be British, includes quite an emotional message to the public, and to those who he served alongside.
Harry asked people to remember “not only the fallen, but the living” and even encouraged many to visit veterans and “join them for a cuppa or a pint” to “remind them their service still matters”.
Some people have negatively commented on the letter due to the fact that Prince Harry left the UK for a life in the US with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their kids.
However, Prince Harry even referenced this huge change himself. But explained he will always be proud to be British.
He wrote: “Though currently, I may live in the United States, Britain is, and will always be, the country I proudly served and fought for.
“The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands. As ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British. I make no apology for it. I love it.”

‘Hidden’ message in the letter for Meghan Markle
Analysing Harry’s message and word choice, communications specialist and body language expert Judi James told The Mirror that the prince has a “deep nostalgia” for the UK.
She explained: “He sounds like so many ex-pats that retain an unrealistic, idealised memory of the country they left too. As though it has been pickled and preserved in another era that might not reflect the modern reality.”
Judi believed that despite Harry’s assurance of his love for America, he “sounds like a man still yearning” for the UK.
And it seems this yearning was a hidden intentional message to the world – and to Meghan.
Judi added: “Harry is letting everyone know – including Meghan here – that he is missing a kind of shared, intense, complex humour. One that he might not be able to get in the US.”
It’s also believed that the timing of release for Prince Harry’s letter was strategic. And actually so it didn’t overshadow Prince William’s landmark speech at the COP30 summit in Brazil.
Earlier this week, Harry’s trip faced backlash for ‘overshadowing’ William’s time in Brazil.
And Judi believed that Harry’s use of “strong” words could have been him “implying (perhaps subconsciously) how much he misses his older brother”.
