Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have put on a united front during an outing together after their dad Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was stripped of his royal titles.

The royal, 65, has been officially stripped of his prince title and HRH style. He’s also lost his Duke of York title and other royal honours.

It comes amid ongoing scrutiny over his association with the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew was also accused of sexual assault by Virginia Giuffre. Ms Giuffre alleged she was made to have sex with Andrew when she was 17 in the early 2000s after she was trafficked by Epstein.

Andrew has always vehemently denied the allegations made against him.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie share a hug in public outing

Thursday saw Beatrice and Eugenie meet during an outing in Mayfair, London. The same day Andrew officially lost his prince title.

In pictures and footage obtained by The Sun, the sisters could be seen walking through Mayfair, deep in intense conversation.

At one point, the sisters appeared to be consoling each other.

At the end of their outing together, the sisters were seen chatting seriously on the corner of the street. They then shared a hug before going their separate ways.

Beatrice looked particularly solemn as she walked away.

Of course, it is unknown whether the sisters were discussing their father’s situation during their outing.

The duo are close to their parents and have been reportedly supporting them since the scandal blew up recently.

Andrew officially stripped of his titles

On Thursday, Andrew was formally stripped of his ‘prince’ title and HRH style.

Details of the Letters patent were published by the Crown Office in The Gazette, the UK’s official public record.

The entry read: “The king has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of ‘Royal Highness’ and the titular dignity of ‘prince’.”

Letters patent are a legal document that is authorised by the king.

Last week, Buckingham Palace confirmed the king had “initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew”.

They also confirmed that Andrew will move out of his Royal Lodge home in Windsor. However, this will reportedly happen in early 2026.

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor asked to appear for questioning

This week, it was also reported that Andrew has been asked to answer questions about his links to Epstein.

US congressional committee investigating the Jeffrey Epstein case has made the formal request for the royal to sit down for a “transcribed interview” about his “long-standing friendship” with Epstein.

Reports claim that the letter states that US politicians said their House Oversight Committee had identified “financial records containing notations such as ‘massage for Andrew’ that raise serious questions”.

The letter, which was signed by 16 members of Congress, requests that Andrew reply by November 20.

“We write to seek your co-operation in the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s (Committee) investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operations,” the letter reads.

Royal Insider contacted Andrew’s office for comment on these claims.
