Kim Kardashian accused of 'snubbing' Meghan Markle following Kris Jenner party
Harry and Meghan mingled with the stars at the partyKim Kardashian and Kris Jenner recently sparked rumours that they snubbed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after Kris’ recent birthday party.
Meghan and Harry were in attendance at Kris’ party over the weekend.
But, rumours began swirling after Kim and Kris shared photos of the party on Instagram.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner ‘delete’ snaps of Harry and Meghan
Last weekend, Harry and Meghan mingled with the A-listers at Kris’ 70th birthday party.
The bash, which took place at Amazon owner Jeff Bezos’ mansion in Beverly Hills, saw the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Justin Bieber, and Serena Williams in attendance.
After the party, Kris’ daughter Kim, 45, shared some snaps on her Instagram. Kris also shared some pictures of the party and her guests.
As reported by Us Weekly, amongst the pictures on Kim’s Instagram was one of her and a smiling Meghan. Prince Harry can be seen smiling in the background, having a conversation with someone off-camera.
However, reports have claimed that the images have since been removed.
Now, a source told Page Six that Harry and Meghan asked Kris and Kim to remove Instagram pictures of them at the party.
The insider claimed: “They don’t want to [bleep] off the royal family while they are trying to reconcile.”
Royal Insider has contacted reps for the Sussexes for comment. RI also contacted reps for Kim for comment.
Prince Harry was ‘protective’ of Meghan at Kris’ party
Despite flashing a “gleeful” smile as she entered the party on Saturday night, Meghan appeared “coy” around the A-listers present, according to a body language expert.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James offered her analysis on the Sussexes’ behaviour at the party.
She explained that Harry wanted to protect his wife from the paparazzi, adopting a “serious” approach.
“In star terms, this reflects her return to the big screen as an actress, while he seems to be back in ‘Spare’ mode here. Harry’s expressionless mode directs the attention to his wife here, although his ritual is one favoured by the likes of Travis Kelce, with the outstretched arm held behind and away from his torso to suggest muscle power, and with his hand gripped around Meghan’s in a similar ‘Big Paw’ Travis grasp that speaks of a desire to protect as they go past the press,” she said.
She added that Meghan walked into the venue with “confidence,” knowing she was one of the big stars present.
Kim ‘snubbed Meghan work opportunity’
Earlier this year, it was reported that Kim had rejected the chance to work with Meghan.
“As much as Kim respects her mum Kris’ choice to support them, she doesn’t want to be associated with anyone that’s controversial unless they really are a great benefit to her,” a source alleged to Closer magazine in February.
“As far as she can tell, there’s not much benefit to hanging out with the Sussexes.”
However, reports claimed in September that Meghan felt “determined” to work with the star.
