The countdown is on: Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan holiday special finally has a release date on Netflix.
On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to officially announce the release date for her Netflix holiday special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, which is set to premiere on December 3 on the streaming platform.
“Embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season,” the announcement read. “With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives December 3rd on @netflix.”
The post was accompanied by a new promotional image of Meghan wearing an elegant green dress while lighting a candle at a beautifully decorated table.

The upcoming special will offer a glimpse into Meghan’s California home life as she hosts a festive celebration from Montecito, where she lives with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“This December, join Meghan in Montecito for a magical holiday celebration,” Netflix previously teased in a press release. “Together, friends and family deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home.”

Described as “a holiday wonder with warmth, tradition, and a generous dose of joy,” the special blends festive décor, family traditions, and practical tips, all through Meghan’s signature lifestyle lens.
During her appearance at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C. in October, Meghan hinted that the episode would include DIY gift-wrapping tips, a nod to her time working at Paper Source between acting auditions.
“That’s not the full circle I was expecting,” she joked. “But here we are.”
The holiday episode is the latest installment in Meghan’s With Love, Meghan series, which debuted in March as her first solo hosting project under her and Harry’s Netflix deal. The second season followed in August.

After Netflix’s social media accounts also shared the release date news, some viewers shared their thoughts.
Some people weren’t happy. One wrote on X: “Cancelled my subscription.”
Another said: “Thanks for the warning, I’ll make sure to block it.”
A third added: “Thanks for the warning. I’ll be sure to cancel my subscription beforehand.”
However, someone else gushed: “I have made so many of the recipes from season 1 and 2. All delicious. Holding off planning my Christmas day menu for this!”
Another wrote: “I can’t wait. This is going to be the must-see for our holiday celebrations.”
One Meghan fan commented: “Gosh, I’m looking forward to this! Christmas is coming early!”
Meghan and Harry’s Netflix deal
Meanwhile, the couple’s partnership with Netflix has continued to evolve since their initial reported $100million overall deal, which began in 2020.
Earlier this year, Meghan confirmed that they had extended their creative partnership with a multi-year first-look deal.
She explained what a first-look deal with Netflix would mean.
“My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix,” Meghan explained at the Fortune summit. She compared the structure to the Obamas’ Higher Ground partnership with the streaming giant.
“Once that had come to its term, the extension, which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership, was now being in a first-look deal.”
“It gives us flexibility to go to our partners first,” she added. “Then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else.”
In addition to the special, Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, recently launched its first holiday collection. It features festive offerings like sparkling wine, artisan candles, and curated gift boxes.
