Meghan Markle's 'special' As Ever chocolate bars sell out in less than 60 minutes
The limited edition chocolate bars were snapped up in less than an hour
Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand just dropped its most indulgent treat yet: a trio of limited-edition chocolate bars.
On Thursday (December 4), the Duchess of Sussex unveiled the new products.
Created in partnership with renowned Los Angeles chocolatier Jonathan Grahm of Compartés, the special set sold out in under an hour.

“Perfect for stocking stuffers, elevated last-minute gifting, and sharing with guests – to spark a little sweet nostalgia – this special set includes three recipes made with our beloved signature ingredients,” the launch announcement read.
“Each bar comes wrapped in bespoke botanical-print paper – together, they form a gorgeous garden triptych so beautiful, all you need is a bow.”
Each bar was inspired by signature As Ever ingredients.
Among the highlights were a dark chocolate bar infused with raspberry spread and a sprinkle of sea salt, a milk chocolate bar made with shortbread cookies and bee pollen, and a white chocolate bar featuring flower sprinkles and hemp hearts.
The milk chocolate flavour was reportedly the first to vanish, selling out in under 30 minutes. It was followed quickly by the dark chocolate. Purchases were limited to two per customer. Each bar was priced at $12 (£9) .
Meghan had teased the collaboration just one day earlier. The duchess posted an Instagram post showing a woman’s hand (presumably hers, wearing her signature Cartier gold bangle) holding the trio tied in green ribbon.
The caption read: “Things are about to get sweeter…”
She also posted behind-the-scenes footage of herself working with Grahm to develop the flavours.
Fans react to products being sold out
Some fans were left gutted over the quick sell-out, as one said: “Well done if you were quick enough to get some. Meghan girl, you need to get some more in production.”
Another wrote: “As Ever’s limited edition in partnership with Compartés Chocolate is sold out already?!?!? But I only popped out to the shops for a couple of hours!”
A third added: “I’m so mad Meghan’s Chocolate Bars sold out before I could get my hands on it.”

With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration
The launch also arrived just one day after Meghan’s festive Netflix special. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration premiered on December 3.
The one-hour special showcased the duchess sharing holiday traditions and hosting tips alongside friends like Kelly McKee Zajfen and Lindsay Jill Roth. Celebrity guests Naomi Osaka and Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio also made appearances.
Prince Harry also made a brief appearance, stealing a kiss from Meghan in their kitchen as he helped himself to a bowl of gumbo.
The chocolate bars are just the latest in a series of successful product drops from As Ever.
The lifestyle brand debuted in April with eight core pantry items, all of which sold out within an hour. Since then, Meghan has added seasonal spreads, hand-poured candles, mulling spices, and a vintage rosé.
Last month, As Ever’s fruit spread gift box was featured on Oprah Winfrey’s “Favourite Things” list. The media mogul is also a long-time neighbour and friend of Meghan and Harry. On her website, she praised the jams as the perfect gift.
“Before my neighbour Meghan started her business, she shared her homemade recipes with us,” Oprah wrote. “I love to drizzle it on an English muffin or yoghurt, or ice cream. Just add a bow, and you’re ready to go.”
While there’s no word yet on whether With Love, Meghan will return for a third season, the duchess’ lifestyle empire shows no signs of slowing down.
