Touching way Prince George could 'follow in dad William's footsteps by visiting homelessness shelter'
Like father, like son?Prince George could soon join his father, Prince William, on a visit to a homelessness shelter, it has been reported.
The Prince of Wales is apparently keen to involve his eldest son, who turned 12 in July, in his charity work.

William celebrates two decades with homelessness charity
Prince William has long been a powerful advocate for ending homelessness. He was of course introduced to the cause early on by his mother.
The late Princess Diana was patron of Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, which supports over 15,000 young people every year. She famously took Princes William and Harry to visit shelters when they were as young as 11.
In 2005, William then followed in his mother’s footsteps, taking over as patron of the organisation.
Today (December 9), Centrepoint has thrown a party for the prince in celebration of his two decades of patronage.
Juliet Sear, the baker who famously created the Bruce Bogtrotter chocolate cake for Netflix’s 2022 Matilda the Musical, was commissioned to make a special celebratory cake.
The charity also reportedly presented William with a montage of photos from his twenty years of service.

Prince George to follow in William’s footsteps?
William also launched the Homewards initiative in 2023 to tackle homelessness across the UK.
The five-year project is locally-led in six flagship locations around the UK. The Royal Foundation has provided each regional hub with £500,000 funding. Homewards’ aim is that by 2028, they will be on a path towards ending homelessness for good.
In an ITV programme documenting the organisation’s first year, Prince William revealed that he regularly discusses the issue with his young children on school runs.
He’s keen to take George to a homeless shelter soon.
“It’s really important that you start those conversations when children are small so that they understand the world around them,” he said.
It seems only natural then that, according to the Daily Mail, he is now keen to pass the torch on to his own son.
The Prince of Wales is reportedly hoping to give George some hands-on experience of the issue.
“He talks to George, Charlotte and Louis about homelessness a lot. It’s something he’s incredibly passionate about,” a royal source reportedly told the newspaper.
They then continued: “He’s keen to take George to a homeless shelter soon to meet some of the brilliant people who inspired him to create Homewards, and the people who will ultimately be supported by it.”
