Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tipped to make UK return in 2026
The couple left Britain in 2020Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been tipped to make a return to the UK next year, following a sweet gesture from King Charles.
Last week, royal fans spotted a photo of the Sussexes at the king and queen’s London home of Clarence House. The framed wedding snap was on display on a small table, in the background of a royal video.
It has led to speculation over whether Harry and Meghan could soon be paying the royals a visit. And it looks like the odds are pretty high…

‘The couple are fancied to visit in 2026’
Speaking on behalf of Poker Scout, Jeffrey McMillan said: “With a recent Royal festive party at Clarence House revealing a framed photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, and Harry reportedly reviewing security options for the UK, the couple are fancied to visit the nation in 2026.”
He continued: “It’s as short as 8/11 they make the trip over from California next year, whilst it’s 3/1 they make a return in 2027 and 11/4 they come in 2028 or later.”
Despite rumours that the couple could be joining for Christmas at Sandringham, Jeffrey claimed the odds are low.
“A return in the remainder of 2025 seems unlikely at 20/1,” he said.

Could Prince Harry return to royal duties?
Of course, security is a major barrier standing in the Sussexes’ way.
Back in May, the Duke of Sussex lost his court battle to have his police protection reinstated. The couple’s security was downgraded after they stepped down as senior members of the royal family back in 2020.
In response to the unsuccessful Court of Appeal verdict, Harry said: “I can’t see a world in which I will be bringing my wife and children back to the UK.”
“They’re going to miss everything,” he then continued sadly. “I love my country. I miss the UK…It’s sad I won’t be able to show my children my homeland.”
Earlier this month, it was reported that the matter is once again under review.
According to Jeffrey: “With speculation surrounding the couple’s security if they were to return, it is a short price (1/2) that the taxpayer would fund any protection on their next visit, with it 6/4 that it wouldn’t be covered by the State.”
He also considered whether we might see the prince make a return to royal duties, something he has never completely ruled out.
“If they were to pay a visit, this could open the door to a return to Royal duties for Prince Harry – it’s not out of the question that this happens at 2/1, though it’s considered likelier he doesn’t at 2/5,” he said.
