Princess Charlotte's 'protective' gesture towards Prince George on Christmas walkabout spotted by fans
The Wales family stepped out on Christmas Day in SandringhamPrincess Charlotte left royal fans gushing recently after they spotted her sweet gesture to big brother, Prince George, on Christmas Day.
On December 25, Charlotte and George joined their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their younger brother, Prince Louis, to attend church and greet well-wishers in Sandringham.
Every Christmas, the royal family greets people who have gathered in Sandringham, Norfolk. The moments are often caught on camera and shared online.
And one sweet moment between Charlotte, 10, and George, 12, has left many fans gushing.

Princess Charlotte’s ‘protective’ gesture to Prince George on Christmas Day
A short clip shared on X showed Charlotte and George talking to a crowd.
Charlotte held some gifts as they both engaged in conversation with people gathered. Then, sweetly, Charlotte places her hand on George’s back as a subtle sign of support.
The fan wrote alongside the video: “Just look at Charlotte’s sweet gesture, her face and her arm supporting her brother… you can see that in William and Catherine’s home there is love, respect and support, the children follow the example of their parents. It’s beautiful!”
Others shared their thoughts on Charlotte and George’s bond. One person said: “Clearly William and Catherine are stellar parents.”
In addition, another commented: “The little head tilt and pat in the back, so incredibly sweet. She’s so proud of him.”
Someone else suggested: “It looks like Prince George was moving on and the ‘tap’ was given to remind him that the person, who Princess Charlotte’s attention was clearly on, wasn’t finished talking to him.”
Another gushed: “Princess Charlotte placing her hand behind Prince George on Christmas Day makes such a wonderful picture. She has always shown a protective and caring side, keeping Prince George in check with gentle guidance.”

Charlotte stuns fans with ‘polite’ behaviour
Elsewhere during the walkabout, Princess Charlotte won over fans after she gave a well-wisher a hug.
After spotting the woman, Charlotte walked over to a security guard and asked them to hold her gifts.
She seemingly said: “Could you hold this please? Thank you.”
The security guard then took the gifts from Charlotte, and she walked over to the woman and gave her a hug.

Fans appeared stunned by Charlotte’s behaviour, as one person gushed on X: “A genuine smile and warm hug. #PrincessCharlotte has learned well from her parents. Such poise and grace for her age.”
Another wrote: “Love when Princess Charlotte said to their security guard ‘Can you hold this PLEASE’ then proceeded to go and hug the woman, she’s such well mannered and kind-hearted soul.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “She says thank you, she is polite, honest, and follows protocol to a tee. And exemplary young lady!”
The royal family spent Christmas at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. It has remained a festive tradition for many years.
